Kimberly, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

My mission is to provide creative products that will touch the soul of all mankind. I strongly feel everyone, young and graciously mature deserves something special that is handcrafted especially for them. This gift should be a keepsake that last a lifetime. The crafted creation should take them to a place mentally that makes them feel loved and appreciated.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I love to create by designing unique greeting cards and memory books that people will keep for a lifetime. My work is one -of-a-kind in the greeting card industry. Kimmy’s Greetings creative art offer style, personalization, and most of all convenience. Our customers are able to request for certain colors and have the card designed to complement the recipient. The cards focus on what the recipient enjoys and makes them feel good. The memory books tell a story about the recipient. The customer is allowed to include a personal message of their own address to the recipient. Kimmy’s Greetings works from start to finish with the customer in designing that special card or memory book. What sets us apart from other companies in our industry is our ultimate pleasure to deliver an awesome custom handcrafted card or memory book that leaves a loving impression on the recipient’s heart.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

What’s been the most rewarding aspect of being an artist or being creative, is receiving feedback from the customer that the recipient of a Kimmy’s Greetings product was pleased or happy with what they received. My customers, request for custom cards or memory books and expect originality. I personally follow up with my customers to find out how the recipient felt about what they received. Nothing touches my heart more than to find out the recipient loves their custom creation! This gives me a drive to think of more creative “out-of-box” designs that are heartfelt.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

During the global pandemic, getting supplies to create handcrafted or custom work became challenging due to the lack of supplies. Some stores experienced a struggle with keeping shelves stocked. Other suppliers went out of business. This made it difficult to get supplies and materials needed to craft cards and memory books. Therefore, I embraced a digital platform, where I created cards using a computer and printed these designs so they could be stocked in a local store.
