Kimberly, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Kim here and I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself to you. I am a wife and mother of two amazing boys who bring such purpose and happiness to my life.
I have spent the past fifteen years working in the financial industry with small business owners. While I’ve been working in this capacity I’ve always been inspired by small business owners to one day start my own business and in 2018 thats exactly what I did.
It’s all started with my husband who enjoys smoking cigars in his leisure. The smell would sometime linger into our home from our backyard deck. I began purchasing candles, reed diffusers and air fresheners to eliminate the odor. I knew I could one day create my own that was not only beautiful to look at but also have an equally amazing fragrance. I began experimenting with candle making. After several trial and errors, I was able to formulate a candle that was all natural, 100% soy, healthy to burn and perfect for my home.
As a gift to myself for my 40th birthday I decided to share the candles I created with the world. Each candle is individually blended, wicked, labeled poured and boxed by hand. The inspiration for each candle in my collection came from words in various mantras that helped keep me happy during this special transition in my life.
It begins with FREEDOM, COMPASSION, LOVE, TRANSITION, GRATITUDE & HARMONY. My ask of you is that when you light your candle it inspires you in some way to reflect on how these powerful words can bring some joy into your life as it does for me.
