Hi Kimberly, thanks for joining us today. Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?

In my eyes my mother became an Angel in 2022. It was a life-changing experience for me being her only child.

After her passing, I had a dream. In that dream I heard my mom with a stern tone say “LOOK”! It was a tube of lip gloss.

That very same morning I started working to build Angel Kiss. In my heart I believe that every time someone uses Angel Kiss lip care, they will receive a Kiss from an Angel.

I’ve always been a “girly girl” and into fashion and makeup. I became obsessed with lip gloss, lip liner and makeup from the time my mom allowed me to wear it.

I’ve tried them all! While they were all great brands, I hadn’t found a brand that catered to beauty and lip care. So I created it for myself and other people who have the same desires.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

As a customer, I searched for a lip gloss that wasn’t too heavy/sticky, long lasting. and moisturizing.

I worked closely with my manufacturers to create this amazing formula, That became our top seller Angel Kiss lip plumper/gloss. Not stopping there, I’ve dedicated all of my time to developing lip care and beauty.

How’d you think through whether to sell directly on your own site or through a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc.

Angel Kiss Product’s may be purchased through my website or on Amazon. Most customers prefer to shop through Amazon because it’s convenient considering they already have Amazon accounts. I would have to say a con to using Amazon are the fees. However, I feel secure selling through Amazon because I know my products are being handled with care. Therefore, the pros weigh out the cons.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

Constant networking, has been my biggest source for new clients. Although, I am new to social Media and still learning how to navigate each of the sites, I’ve gained and created a community through Instagram and Facebook that values my product.
