Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kimberly Bice. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Kimberly, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
Believing in yourself and taking risks is not something everyone is born with. It’s an innate ability to believe that no matter what happens you’ll be ok. I hope that my legacy will be one that is filled with hope, love, determination and compassion.
The only thing I ever dreamed of being was a wife and stay at home mom. That’s it. Thats all I wanted to do. I wanted to have babies and raise them. Life has a way of changing our dreams along the way.
I have two amazing daughters, Madaline & HolliAnn. My youngest, Holliann was born with a neuro-degenerative disease and passed away at 2.5 years old. This changed the trajectory of my life. Shortly after her passing I began my career in real estate. It allowed me to have a career, but still be at home with Madaline. I needed to work, but I also wanted my daughter to know that I was there for her & always would be. I worked hard to build a business based on referrals. I concentrated on putting my clients needs first and building lasting relationships with them. I hope that when people think of me they’ll remember my work ethic and heart.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I started my career in real estate in 2009. I began to build my business working by referral. In 2015 I passed the brokers exam and had to decide what my next steps would be. I took a leap of faith and opened an independent brokerage, BlueLine Realty LLC.
My company name came to life, as my entire life has revolved around law enforcement & military service. My husband is a USMC veteran and current law enforcement officer. We’ve given our lives to service, and I have a deep connection to families like ours. I am well versed in adapting and overcoming challenges. It’s an honor to be able to help our military, veterans and law enforcement officers with their real estate needs.
Giving back is part of who I am! Being a Real Estate Broker and business owner has given me the opportunity to give back to my community, as well as impact countless lives! I’ve built the company around the guiding principles: balance, integrity, commitment & excellence. At BlueLine Realty LLC we are not focused on transactions, but rather on clients. I am
Incredibly proud of this business and the trust our clients put into us. I never take that for granted.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
A parent shouldn’t ever have to watch their child die, but I did. Helpless and unbearable. Losing a child changes your entire world and I believe you have two choices to make: you can become distant, hard & sad or you can choose to find peace, gratitude and love. I chose the second option. It’s not always an easy path, but I am thankful for my journey. I try to appreciate everyday and live by my personal mantra “it’s a great day to be a great day”
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I think I have built my reputation by consistently showing up, working hard, and being detailed oriented. I look at problems as road blocks and work tirelessly to solve the problem. Thinking outside of the box has saved countless real estate transactions through my career. My clients and colleagues can always count on me to deliver level headed guidance and be tenacious in reaching our goals.
