Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kimberly Beam. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Kimberly thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Learning to hear and trust my intuition has been a decades long process. I have a mission to help every person know and trust their intuition. Intuition is the central guide in a person’s life, leading them along the best possible path toward life’s highest good and happiness. By trusting their intuition, people create lives they love – applying for the right jobs (and getting them), meeting the right people at the right time. Esther Hicks has a mantra that I adore, “Everything is always working out for me.” By learning to learn how to hear and trust their intuition, every person is setting themselves up for success and a fulfilled life. It sets them up for have all the pieces fall into place. I have been on this journey for a long time, and I can say, it definitely looks like, at times, that everything is going wrong, that I’ve gotten myself into a serious problem, or that the Universe/God/Source/Spirit is against me. Only, I waited, not trusting my circumstances, not trusting what I was seeing in reality, and watched, learned, and allowed myself to grow, change, and blossom. Those challenging circumstances were the ones that created the life I live today, created the strength I have today, and created the confidence I have today to say: it’s because of my intuition that I have what I have, and I am who I am.

Kimberly, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am an intuitive reader and intuition coach. Plainly put, this means, I read the energy around a person. I take in their energy fields and I sense what is possible in their current energy realms to find the paths that will lead them to happiness. In an intuitive reading, I listen, visualize, imagine, and sense all that Spirit is saying (to the best of my ability) and create a dialogue about what directions will bring the most happiness – sometimes even giving warnings and sharing the images that arise in my imagination, or the thoughts that float through my mind. Using intuition, all of the senses and experiences are a part of the information used to help people feel informed and supported. As an intuition coach, I teach people how to trust their intuition. I teach them to do what I do, only with their unique skill set and the way they interact with the energy versus the way I do. Everyone has their own entry points with intuition and their own ways of understanding messages the Universe/Spirit/God/Source gives. My job as a coach is to help you overcome doubt, fear, and ego and come into a place of trust and balance with intuitive messages.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
My entire being is based on logic. What is seen is what I know to be true. When working with the intuitive realm, I am working in the realm of energy and possibility. Timing is all wonky too. Nailing timing down is really hard. The part of my brain that focuses on facts and reality side of life is what I call the left brain. The artistic, open-minded, exploratory side of the brain is what I call the right brain. My left brain regularly likes to tell my right brain it’s wrong, has no idea what it’s talking about, and even says my right brain is making things up (but not phrased that nicely). When I first started sharing intuitive words, I really had a hard time opening my mouth and letting the words flow out. I second, third, and fourth guessed myself. I was so worried about if my words would hurt rather than help. I was worried about being wrong. If I’m to be honest, I still am. I take a humble approach to intuition. If someone is willing to let me speak such powerful insight into their life, I take that trust very seriously. I’ve been wrong, in my own life especially. Being wrong flattened me and made me ignore my intuition for years, because I would rather be right. Only, there was such a pull to learn how to read energy and help others, that I had to learn to put down my fears and doubts, and I learned what it means to be in an intuition flow.
Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?
I sat in my living room for months, with Ask and It is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks as my guide. I practiced their words and practices over and over. I worked to raise my vibration. I went out on adventures that felt good, exploring new places and picking up mementos along the way. I sat in meditation, a practice I believe in deeply and make a conscious effort to stick to daily. I work at meditation. I work at the art of releasing and allowing, a practice that says, “You know what you want, but you let it go in order for what you want to have space to come fully into your reality.” Releasing and allowing is a skill I am weak at and need to practice regularly. I wanted a large sum of money to solve some financial issues. I did the work in the book and that exact sum of money came into my life. I am now using that money to create spaciousness and my brand.
