Alright, Kim thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

I’m really passionate about what I do! It’s not just a job for me; it’s a fun and incredible creative outlet. I truly invest my heart and soul into my business, especially for my clients and my family, who inspire me to do my best. I started this journey with the aim of bringing happiness to others, and when I can combine that with doing what I love, it’s a win-win for everyone!

When I pick up my camera, my mission is to capture some of life’s most beautiful moments. I feel so lucky to be part of these intimate and meaningful experiences in other people’s lives. I cherish taking photos and have captured countless memories throughout my own life. Looking back at those pictures fills me with nostalgia as I remember the wonderful times and amazing seasons I’ve experienced. That’s the feeling I want to share with every person who steps in front of my camera!

Kim, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m Kim, a proud wife and mom to two wonderful girls who mean the world to me. Ever since I was little, I’ve had a deep love for photography. Once I became a mother, I decided to leave my 9-5 job and start my own small photography business. This way, I could be more present at home while still earning some extra income. Photography has become such a fulfilling creative outlet for me.

I feel so lucky to capture some of life’s most cherished moments—everything from weddings and family gatherings to couples’ sessions and pregnancies. I also love helping parents as they send their teens off to college or celebrate their senior year. Plus, I get the joy of working with other small businesses on launching new products!

When it comes to creative work for my clients, I’m all about finding the perfect locations for photo sessions. If they have any inspiration in mind, I collaborate with them to bring those ideas to life—whether it’s choosing outfits or brainstorming concepts. I genuinely care about what they envision for their photos and strive to be as involved as they’d like me to be.

What I want everyone—my clients and followers—to know is that I truly invest my heart into making their visions come true. To all the fellow photographers and entrepreneurs out there, just know that I’m cheering you on! It can be tough sometimes, but keep showing up for yourself and doing what you love. If you ever feel burnt out, take a moment to reconnect with your ‘why’ and stay strong in pursuing your dreams—you’ve got this!

How did you build your audience on social media?

Just be your true self! I used to think that I had to keep my personal life separate from my business social media because it was all about work. But I’ve come to realize that I’m a person too, and I want to share the real me. I believe people would love to see that side of you as well!

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

I love listening to people’s stories and hearing how I’ve helped someone feel or look beautiful.
