Hi Kim, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Lady Konfidential traces its origins back to Eve’s Garden, a vision crafted by the remarkable women’s rights activist, Dell Williams, affectionately known as Lady Dell. Since its inception in 1974, our store has been a haven for women, offering an exclusive space free from clichés like penis-shaped straws and subpar vibrators. Lady Dell’s dream was to create a sanctuary where femininity was celebrated, and individual desires were respected
I had read about her in an article and felt like I could relate immediately, when I was curious and was interested in buying my first vibrator about 30 years ago, which was not a comfortable experience. I felt strongly that it should not be this way and why are there only men present to assist me…I told myself there has to be a better way,a more comfortable,organic,transparent and nurturing experience and one day it will happen.
Dell Williams was my mentor since 1998, I’ve always shared many of her feelings and beliefs on how women’s sexuality has been perceived over so many long years. As Sexuality of any kind should be celebrated and embraced and it is beautiful,sacred,sensual and shameless despite of gender,religion,culture and age.On March 13,2015 Lady Dell left us at 92…I suppose I felt that she would always be here as I gave her the last magic wand ”Old Faithful” and she said to me you are now the “garden keeper” I knew I had to continue the legacy somehow and overcoming the challenges of the 2020 pan demic, I Decided to take on the retail space and had to create a new company as it would be a rebirth “Lady Konfidential” Afterall, there’s nothing more confidential then entering a commercial office building,consisting of mostly dental offices,medispas,nutritionists,accountants…etc. (I’m a lot more fun than a root canal) Many refer to me as Lady K. with over 25 years of dedication to the art & education of sensuality and sexual preservation Lady K will continue to uphold the legacy of my mentor. Lady Konfidential not only preserves Lady Dell’s original ethos but also expands its offerings to cater to diverse needs.
Lady Konfidential itself was born in 2021,and I will say it was challenging and not easy, one of my most recent inspirations that reinforced I was on the the right path was an 85 year old widow who has now become my regular and become quite an inspiration with an incredibly beautiful and heartfelt story and let me tell you as long as the desire is there it’s limitless….desire is ageless! “It’s about self preservation” (Be better to yourself & you will be better to other’s)

Well, I have so many… not sure where to start! I’ve previously shared a few in the last questions (possibly went overboard, at least you will have enough material to work with)
Mary who is 85 and has been abstinent for 25 years rekindles with an old friend also widowed gets back into her groove again,both obviously needs to get reaquainted. Yes, it different and requires patieince, such as small tools with a slim diameter,I usually suggest one that is no larger than an 1″ in diameter to start and a good lubricant such as Ananda which will also aleviate any discomfort and then we go up from there a 1/4″ at a time….patience is key!
One of my most difficult challenges are customers who I’ve helped and are blind or disabled so I really have to guide them verbally as to what they are looking for, external/internal, how dexterious as to reach(anamotically) is something easier plugged in or rechargeable.
I would say,it’s usually a more mature clientle that does not hove computer access….however I realize how significant it is for them and I will make the time to help!
