We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kim Groshek. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kim below.
Alright, Kim thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Alright, so you had your idea and then what happened? Can you walk us through the story of how you went from just an idea to executing on the idea
I remember the exact moment the idea for my business truly took shape. It wasn’t a grand epiphany but rather a culmination of years of experience, passion, and a deep desire to create something meaningful. I had spent decades working with industry leaders, helping them scale billion-dollar enterprises, yet I kept seeing the same problem—burnout, lack of fulfillment, and a disconnect from intentional living. I knew I had to build something that would help high achievers pause, reset, and create sustainable success.
Step 1: The Idea Becomes a Plan
Once the idea of Dynamic Habits took root, I did what I do best—strategize. I mapped out my vision on a whiteboard, breaking it into three key pillars: empowering business leaders, integrating mindfulness into high performance, and creating sustainable business systems. But a vision alone isn’t enough; I needed a roadmap to make it real.
Step 2: Research & Validation
I spent months researching the market, talking to C-suite executives, and hosting small workshops to test my concepts. This was crucial. I needed to ensure that what I was building wasn’t just another business model but a movement that would truly help people transform their lives.
Step 3: Building the Brand & Infrastructure
From there, I tackled the foundational steps—registering the business, designing the branding, and developing content that would later become my bestselling books and keynote speeches. I set up systems for operations, created my first digital programs, and formed partnerships with thought leaders who shared my mission.
Step 4: Taking the Leap & Launching
The first year was intense—speaking engagements, building my audience, refining my programs, and ensuring that every client, every event, and every book aligned with my mission. There were challenges, of course—moments of doubt, unexpected obstacles, and long nights—but the passion and impact kept me going.
Step 5: Scaling & Impact
Today, Dynamic Habits is more than just a business; it’s a movement. Through books, keynotes, coaching, and events like the Revitalize Global Summit, I continue to help leaders reclaim their time, energy, and success.
Looking back, the key was taking action before I felt “ready” and constantly refining along the way. Execution is never perfect, but momentum is everything. When you have a vision, start moving—one step at a time. The rest will unfold as you go.
That’s my story—what’s yours? 😊

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Building my reputation in the market came down to three key factors: consistency, authenticity, and impact.
1️⃣ Consistency in Delivering Value – I committed to showing up consistently—whether through my books, keynotes, coaching, or thought leadership content. By continuously providing insights, strategies, and real solutions, I positioned myself as a trusted expert in leadership, high performance, and intentional living.
2️⃣ Authenticity & Purpose-Driven Work – My work is deeply personal. I don’t just teach strategies; I live them. From running 50 half marathons in 50 states to building billion-dollar business systems, I share real-life experiences and practical lessons. People resonate with authenticity, and that has been a major driver of trust and credibility.
3️⃣ Impact & Meaningful Connections – I prioritize real connections over transactions. Whether mentoring executives, leading mastermind groups, or hosting global events like the Revitalize Global Summit, I focus on creating spaces where leaders thrive. When people experience transformation through your work, they naturally become advocates for your brand.
Ultimately, my reputation has grown because I deliver results and genuinely care about the success of those I serve. When your work makes an impact, word spreads, and that’s the most powerful marketing of all. 🚀✨

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of the most defining moments of my journey came during a time when everything seemed to be falling apart. I was deep into building my business, writing books, and leading keynotes, but behind the scenes, I faced unexpected setbacks—financial strain, long hours, and the self-doubt that creeps in when you’re forging a new path.
One particular day, I remember sitting in my office, overwhelmed by the weight of it all. A major project I had invested months into fell through at the last minute. The funding I expected didn’t come through, and I questioned whether I was truly making an impact. It felt like a moment of failure.
But then, I paused.
I reminded myself why I started this journey in the first place—to help leaders and high achievers create sustainable success without burnout. I thought about the people I had already helped, the messages I received from readers saying my books changed their perspective, and the clients who told me my coaching gave them their life back.
Instead of giving in to doubt, I doubled down. I refined my strategy, pivoted where needed, and focused on what I could control. I launched new initiatives, built stronger partnerships, and most importantly, stayed true to my mission. That difficult moment became a catalyst for growth.
Now, looking back, I see that resilience isn’t just about pushing through challenges—it’s about embracing them as part of the journey. Every setback is a lesson, and every challenge is an opportunity to rise stronger. And that’s what has allowed me to build a business, a movement, and a life that I’m truly proud of.
So if you’re facing a tough moment, pause, reflect, and remind yourself why you started. Your next breakthrough could be just around the corner. 🚀✨
