Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kim Carey. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kim, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.

I spent 25 years as a proffessional singer and then became a preschool teacher for 16 years. During the last several years of my teaching career I had a growing interest in spirituality. I had many spiritual experiences involving my intuition and grew very curious. I began a very dedicated practice of mediatiion and prayer. In 2016 after a long back and forth in my mind I ended my preschool teaching career and decided to dedicate myself fully to my spiritual practices. i began by getting certified as a mediataition and mindfulness teacher. After a breakthrough experience at a silent retreat I began to get the message from those I would call Spirit Guides to start a YouTube channel to ease people’s fears about the political changes that were happening in the country. It was a huge risk. Not only would it be putting myself “out there” like never before to be ridiculed or rejected but I might also disappoint myself in my own spiritual connection. I propelled forward in what I can truly call a leap of faith. I had no plan or intention of doing anything other than putting out short videos with some political predictions and spiritual insights to ease people’s fears. But it ascended into something I could have never foreseen. I am now a spiritual teacher, mentor and give personal readings and mentoring on a regular basis. All of this was through just following the guidance given through unseen helpers and my own intuition and inner knowing. When I think back to the leap I took I am so happy I listened.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I am an intuitive empath and I am driven to help people to not only understand their own life and spiritual path more fully but to assist in their spiritual growth. I have a YouTube channel called Intuitiview that I have had since 2017. The channel has evolved and is now very much a spiritual space to offer spiritual insights and understandings about life and the world around us. I have a club that meets regularly and I do individual readings for those seeking personal spiritual insights I can offer through my intuitivie and empathic abilities. In all of these endeavors there is always a teaching element. I offer many classes to help people grow their own intuitivie abilities and have hosted retreats as well. It is my hearts desire to help and offer assistance to anyone who seeks to grow themselves spiritually or intuitively.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Something that drives me in my role as a spiritual mentor and intuitive is truly a reliance on my intuition and setting an intention. I do not do anything if it does not feel right. It has to make me feel an enthusiasm or a joy. If it doesn’t I drop it and come back to it or I tweak it until it feels right. I also check my intention when starting new things or changing anything. I always make sure my intention is aligned with who i am and also what i am trying to achieve. If my intention is out of alignment I know it is wrong for me.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding part of this journey has been the growth of the online community. It is such a warm and kind community and it is always such a joy to connect in to this amazing group of people. I also enjoy serving the community. Whether that means giving of my time, sharing messages, offering prayers or just laughing and sharing. It is such a beautirul way to connect. It is constantly inspiring and rewarding.
