We were lucky to catch up with Kiki Magnuson recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kiki thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
I am determined to establish a company that leaves a lasting, positive impact on both my community and the world. As a Nutritionist, I am driven by unwavering morals and values, aiming to help people liberate themselves from disease and transform their health, along with that of their families. My ultimate vision is to foster a generation that is passionate about health, wellness, and nutrition, continuing the legacy of well-being in our community.
Through my journey, I intend to author cookbooks and publish other books that will carry my name and embody the essence of who I am as a person. These publications will serve as a testament to my dedication to promoting health and improving lives.
As my company flourishes, I will seize the opportunity to give back to the community through various means. This includes supporting charities and extending a helping hand to those in need through cooking classes. These initiatives will not only create a healthier community but also nurture a sense of unity and compassion.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hello there, my name is Kiki Magnuson, MS, and I am an online Nutritionist and the founder of Living Well with Kiki. My journey into the nutrition consulting business was sparked by a personal struggle with my own nutrition. As a former Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach, I observed that people were dedicated to their fitness but often neglected the importance of their food choices. At that time, I lacked the qualifications to guide them in their nutrition, and I found myself struggling with maintaining a healthy diet as well.
In 2016, I joined a weight loss company, where I witnessed firsthand how many people were unaware of proper nutrition practices and struggled with knowing what and how to eat. This experience motivated me to pursue a Master’s in Nutrition, laying the foundation for the birth of Living Well with Kiki.
As a lifestyle Nutritionist, my mission is to empower people to embrace whole nutrition, free from diet stigmas, and to help them not only achieve their weight loss goals but also maintain a healthy lifestyle in the long term, all while savoring delicious and satisfying meals. I firmly believe that nutrition plans should be tailored to suit each individual’s unique needs.
To cater to diverse needs, I offer a wide range of nutrition plans focusing on areas such as women’s health, weight loss, pregnancy, autoimmune issues, and postpartum care. I work closely with my clients, providing personalized one-on-one sessions and also conducting small group sessions and health challenges twice a year, where participants engage in a fun competition with exciting prizes for the top winners.
In addition to nutrition coaching, I also offer online cooking and meal prep classes to make the journey toward healthy eating more practical and enjoyable. Furthermore, I organize virtual educational webinars to provide valuable insights into various aspects of nutrition and well-being.
My ultimate goal is to create a positive impact on the lives of my clients, guiding them towards a path of better health and happiness through nourishing their bodies and minds. With Living Well with Kiki, you can expect a holistic approach to nutrition that empowers you to lead a fulfilling and wholesome life.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
It all starts with the way I treat my clients. As they embark on this uncharted journey of changing their habits and improving their health, they are going to make mistakes and deviate, but that’s all part of the process. I always approach them with compassion and see the glass half full, recognizing that we are often our own harshest critics. By treating my clients well and helping them achieve the results they seek, they are inclined to share their positive experiences with others, leading to a significant number of referrals through word of mouth. This is a clear testament to the good reputation I have built within my market, and I am committed to continuing this positive trajectory.

Have you ever had to pivot?
One significant instance when I had to adapt my business was during the COVID pandemic. Initially, I was primarily seeing clients in person, with some sessions conducted over the phone. I hadn’t ventured into virtual coaching, and my coaching approach lacked a structured framework. However, when the pandemic hit, I swiftly transitioned to meeting clients over Zoom, providing them with more convenient options to log their food through a third-party app, which enhanced their engagement. Additionally, I took the opportunity to create two well-structured programs that catered to the needs of my clients. This adaptability allowed me to evolve with the changing circumstances and become more accommodating in serving my clients and society as a whole.
