We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kiki Bello a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kiki thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?
Doing what I love and love what I do is the best thing has ever happened to me!
Kiki, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Kiki Bello. I am the pioneer of the Electric Harp in the Latin Music Industry. I am also an award winning songwriter. I started playing the Harp at age 6 and writing songs at age 11. I have a bachelor’s degree in Music Business from William Paterson University and Bergen Community College of New Jersey. I am based in Miami, FL.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
The easiest key to success is Discipline. A consistent daily routine is in my opinion the ONLY way you can guaranteed successful results. If you are willing to have the patience of getting results in the long term, you will accomplish anything you wish for. There is no easy or fast route. It takes a tremendous amount of time and effort to perfect your talent or craft.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
If I could go back in time, I would have started a consistent daily routine and taken lessons/coaches that would shape my talent sooner. I would also have started my wellness development including meditation and gratitude.
