We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kieyesia Jetton a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kieyesia, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.

My parents taught me to work hard for anything I want in this world but also be kind and always give back if you have it cause your blessing will come when it’s my turn.

Kieyesia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hello I’m Kieyesia and many call me Kie I’ve been on The Reality show called Commit or Quit and I’ve been dating a Celebrity Actor for the last 8yrs and because of him is where I got my chance to appear on reality TV but besides that I have a strong passion for cooking and feeding others as well as a huge heart for giving back to the community. I last did a sock and coat drive during the cold months also I volunteer my time at the Salvation Army feeding the ones in need and it just feels my heart with such warmth. This year I hope to be able to cook more and work on my craft of making empanadas all sorts of them and plan to get into a food truck and make that my main source of revenue., while still giving back to my community.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.

Well I don’t have a business partner currently but I’m definitely open to a partner that loves to cook as much as I do and is willing to go beyond to make things work like myself, otherwise I’m just studying my craft putting a plan together to get that food truck soon

If you could go back in time, do you think you would have chosen a different profession or specialty?

If I could go back I don’t think I would choose anything else cause food comforts and brings people to together and fills a room with such happiness
