Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kiersten Washington. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kiersten , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. The first dollar you earn is always exciting – it’s like the start of a new chapter and so we’d love to hear about the first time you sold or generated revenue from your creative work?

My first check earned as a creative (model) was for “Carters”.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

At the age of 3 I started dancing, not too soon after that my parents noticed that I liked being in front of the camera. They had me dabble in modeling. A few months before my 6th birthday I made the cover of Katwalk Kids Fashion Magazine 2021 May issue 36. Not long after that I was signed to Generation Model Management. I’m most proud of my Philanthropic contributions. I enjoy giving back its very rewarding . My book The Print Princess was inspired by my life.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My mission is to end world hunger. Every year I donate to food pantries or shelters .

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect of being a creative is being able to give back.
