We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kiah Cobb a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Kiah thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Do you take vacations? How do you keep things going – any advice for entrepreneurs who feel like they can’t step away from their business for a short vacation?

I absolutely take vacations. Vacations are not just for relaxation, but welcomes the opportunity to take a personal and spiritual journey within yourself. It is time needed to reflect on your accomplishments and enjoy them. Vacations can also invite creative ideas and the possibility of meeting like minded people that share your entrepreneurial spirit. Entrepreneurs who feel that if they are not present at all times, then the business will collapse, are not operating in my opinion as a leader. Leaders create teams that buy into the vision of the entrepreneur which will sustain the business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I recently started a YouTube channel called “MsFabuloso” My channel focuses on travel and lifestyle and all things fabulous to me! I started my channel for myself first, because I wanted to memorialize my experiences life. I can also showcase my thoughts and feelings such as grief, anxiety and other changes going in my life that others can identify with. As I continued to post, I noticed I created a community around my creativity and it makes me so proud. For 2025, my focus for the “MsFabuloso” YouTube channel is to explore off beat restaurants and businesses, interviewing new creatives to help them gain exposure, feature my extensive Barbie collection and visiting new cities all across the world! Is there mission driving your creative journey?

The unexpected death of my father in 2023 is the driving force for me to have limitless boundaries for being creative. My father had plans and goals which were unachievable because we all live in a world where we think we will always have time. Time waits for no one. His advice to me was “To Do Everything You Want To Do and Do It Now” So I took that advice and I just want to live life and have fun and avoid putting boundaries on myself. I purposely schedule time for myself to discover new ideas and set goals for my YouTube channel. I push all my limits.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect of being creative is that I am using my God given talent. I know I honor God by living in the purpose He gave me of being a creative.
