We were lucky to catch up with Kia Jones recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Honestly the most recent tv series I worked on cap season the director pushed me to get outside my comfort zone and let everyone make their character a piece of them. What made it also meaningful is that it was relatable to the real world.

Kia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
It started as a hobby honestly I was doing little videos for music artists then I got into modeling and I loved it gave me the creative space to be free let go and express how I’m feeling without words. I’m extremely down to earth honest and a free spired person with a beautiful soul. My brand is a representation of me I actually believe in building bonds with people I work with.

How did you build your audience on social media?
I would say focus on your target audience and post once a day at least. Check to see when people are on more and always use hash tags you never know who may see. It’s also good to engage and repost always.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Being able to not work with someone based off of “popularity” number or followers or just because they have worked with celebrities. One of my biggest mistakes and I didn’t get anything out of it did not receive my photos so just because they are the most popular does not mean they are the most professional.
