Khutso, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Do you wish you had started sooner?

Looking back is not a regret but a lesson that somethings are better done quickly than later, so we begun our music career in 2019, as a result we go by the name of K.G.initials & Forenzik, we both work a 9-5 while we hone our craft of making music. If we had started sooner we would be known worldwide but we trusting the process.

‘Coalition,’ is the first EP of 2024 for brothers Khutso and Thabang Gololo better known by their respective
artist names K.G.initials & Forenzik. Boasting five hip hop tracks, ‘Coalition,’ is an EP that draws influence
from different eras of rap with old-school lyrical flows blended with groovy afro rhythms and weaving these
together with contemporary production.

Forenzik is an artist who has been involved in the rap game for a long time without much luck and ‘Coalition,’ provided the perfect foundation as a joint EP to revive his career;
two tracks of K.G.initials, one track of Forenzik’s and two where the pair feature together.

Working alongside two esteemed producers Yung T & El-Gueta who guided the brothers in the development of this joint EP, K.G.initials & Forenzik created arguably their best work to date with ‘Coalition,’ being a project
that you certainly shouldn’t miss out on.

K.G.initials & Forenzik, led by South African artist Khutso Gololo alongside his brother Thabang Gololo who is known by his stage name Forenzik, hail from the vibrant township of Tembisa. Adopting the stage name K.G.initials, Khutso embarked on his musical journey in 2018, dropping his first single across SoundCloud, Audiomack, and YouTube in 2019.

Despite its removal shortly after, Khutso made a conscious choice to hone his craft, focusing on producing more tracks and collaborating with fellow artists for future releases. Returning with a new single in early January, Khutso continues to pour his passion for music into his work, steadily building his presence in the industry while juggling a demanding 9-5 job. At 30 years old, Khutso balances his burgeoning music career
with his roles as a chef and a private psychologist, offering life and spiritual guidance to those in need.

Driven by his love for music and a desire to share his art with the world, K.G.initials & Forenzik are poised to make their mark on the global music scene.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Uhm we basically investing in our craft, what we do is use our salaries as capital to support our cause, we actually planning on expanding from artists to owners, yeah we will be funding our own studios so we hanging in there

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?

The society must understand that the motivation behind making music is for them before you, so I would prefer for radio stations to give upcoming artists a shot in promoting some of their songs and let listeners decide whether to be broadcasted or not, our music is on all streaming platforms, you can make a choice of the store you stream to
