Khalil , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?
As a high school student, I carried my camera everywhere, capturing every moment at my school and creating my own little world of visual storytelling. Exposing both the good and the bad of high school life. From drama to dancing. If it happened, I had it on video and it was on Youtube by the next school day! My peers admired my dedication and creativity, and often requested my help to film their projects or capture their special moments. With each video I created, I discovered the power of visuals and how it could evoke emotions and capture memories in a unique way. It didn’t take long at all for word to spread about the Youtube channel that had all the drama, all the popular kids and all the new music in one place! It was like we had our own Reality TV show! We were high schoolers bringing in millions of views in what felt like almost over night.
My videos and clips were featured on websites like WorldstarHipHop and even the News once. Unfortunately with a lot of views comes a lot of unwanted attention and before I knew it, my channel was banned! The Police working at the high school even confiscated my camera. But that’s what lead me to believe that I had the power to build something powerful with my visuals! Seeing how excited my peers were to see themselves featured in the videos has never left me. Knowing I was helping my peers who loved music showcase their talents through “CHS FREESTYLES” or their love of dance through the “JIGG FEST” segments, I knew video was something I was going to be doing with my life at some capacity. R.I.P to my friends that were in the videos but aren’t here anymore and FREE my friends who are locked up right now that were featured in the videos!
Fast forward some years later and I’m still that guy running around with his camera out looking to capture the next moment! Looking to help local artists achieve their visual goals and dreams!

When the time came to choose a career path, it was no surprise that I decided to pursue videography. The years flew by as I soaked up knowledge like a sponge, studying everything I could find on Youtube from cinematography to video editing. I honed my craft, experimenting with different styles and techniques. Each project brought new challenges, but my passion and dedication helped pushed me forward. The new challenges helped me develop new skills such as learning how to use and operate Photoshop which opened up a whole new lane for me called Graphic Designing. I started small, freelancing for local events and businesses but my unique perspective and ability to capture captivating stories or present jaw-dropping graphics quickly gained attention, and my reputation grew as the one stop shop for local artists and businesses. With the advent of digital media and social platforms, I found new avenues to showcase my skills. I started my own YouTube channel with over 15k subscribers, reacting to music videos and sharing cinematic advice to aspiring videographers. My online presence grew rapidly, and I became a trusted voice in the videography community.
Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Looking back on my journey as a young videographer and graphic designer, I really wish I grasped the concepts of forming an LLC and accessing business credit resources. The realization of how these could have benefited me haunts me now. An LLC would have offered me the legal protection and structure to pursue my passion confidently, while knowledge of business credit could have opened doors to better equipment and resources. But its all good, I embrace the lessons learned and eagerly embrace these newfound insights as I continue to evolve in my creative pursuits.

Find something you’re passionate about and press record! Find something you can talk about for hours even if nobody is in the room. I don’t care what it is! There is SOMEBODY who feels the same way you do or likes what you like. Music was that vehicle for me. I can talk about it forever. Through my dedication and unique approach, I built a devoted community of over 15,000 subscribers. My journey began with a burning desire to express myself and connect with others through my reactions. Armed with my camera and charismatic personality, I launched my YouTube channel, named “Khalil3x.”
Each video was meticulously crafted to showcase my genuine thoughts and emotions. Consistency was key in my success with Youtube. I established a regular posting schedule, diligently uploading reaction videos to entertain and enlighten my growing community. By consistently delivering high-quality content, I fostered a sense of reliability and reliability among my community. Understanding the importance of engaging with my audience, I actively sought feedback and encouraged discussions. I responded to comments, sparking conversations and creating a welcoming environment where viewers felt heard and valued. My dedication to my supporters went beyond my YouTube channel; I leveraged social media platforms to connect on a deeper level. By sharing personal anecdotes, and sneak peeks of upcoming reactions, I ensured my audience felt connected and involved. One of my greatest strengths was my authenticity. I embraced my unique personality and style, infusing each reaction video with my infectious energy and charm. My genuine passion for the content I reacted to was palpable, drawing viewers in and building a sense of trust and relatability. My authenticity became my trademark, setting me apart from others in the YouTube reaction community.

Embrace your unique qualities and let your personality shine through in your content. Find a niche that resonates with your interests and passions, as this will fuel your creativity and attract like-minded individuals. Consistency is crucial, so establish a reliable posting schedule and stick to it. Engage with your audience sincerely, fostering a sense of community and connection.
