We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Khaira Summer a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Khaira, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I came up with the idea for my business from my love of astrology & self care. I came to the realization that both can co-exist. This was the birth of StzrSauce, and I built this brand identity from that concept.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Hello my name is Khaira Summer a astrologist , and owner Stzrsauce a zodiac based care line. I dove into the science of astrology as a young girl watching Freddy from “Different world”. I found a whole new concept to life as I started to gain my own understanding of this science. I have been able to help hundreds of people understand this science for themselves. I take pride in knowing that just by knowing yourself you can shift your reality.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

One thing I proud myself in is being as open about my business journey as possible. This has been the pinnacle of how I have built the trust, and foundation of my customer base. Building a community where we can talk about our signs, and how we use my products. This is the key that I have found to building a long lasting brand that no only supports a community, but a family.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?

I originally had a bath salt business that just didn’t feel right to me. It wasn’t something I was truly passionate about. So I had to close that completely down, and start over. This has given me the encouragement to continue this path, My brand is a true reflection of my passion.
