We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Khadija Holland. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Khadija below.
Khadija, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
I haven’t had a “steady” stream of income since August of 2021! I left a really good paying job to walk by faith, a year later faith talks with Khadi was established!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m not very good and introducing myself so please be patient with me.. Hi..My name is Khadija… Before I talk about my podcast I’d like for you to get to know me. I am a wife and a mother. I love God and I wouldn’t have made it this far without him. I love to smile and I love to make others smile. Singing is something that I’m really passionate about but for now I’m just a girl that grew up in Gainesville,Ga that moved to Greenville,SC on a wing and a prayer literally at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020! Now that I got that out of the way.. I started my podcast on faith! I am on a journey that can’t be put into words it’s something that I have to walk out day by day! Social media dresses everything up nicely and although it’s character development I wanted to share the truth about what goes on after the cameras are shut off, after the lights go down and the phones are locked! I’m most proud of my transparency and authenticity.. I used to wear a mask.. Smile about everything and when asked “How are you doing?” I used to lie and say “Great” when in reality I was drowning in self doubt.. I didn’t believe what I was doing was right.. Now I know I’m on the right path to help others navigate through similar situations and let them know that they are not alone which is something I felt for a while.
Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
I love the “Know for Sure” podcast hosted by B. Simone & Megan Ashley they talk about Healing, Growth and Evolving Before I started my podcast I would listen to this and watch their videos and cry because they always talked about God and finding their purpose and it’s just beautiful to see black women be true to themselves! I hope to be a guest on their show one day and vice versa! Also my brother S.B. is the host of “The Role Up” Podcast and he has been my biggest supporter and he helped me get to where I am today. His podcast always gives me the quote of the day or the affirmation of the day that’s most definitely needed! He has a book out called “Here’s the truth” and it’s literally the title .. “THE TRUTH”

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
As I stated before this podcast came a year after quitting my job! on Faith & obedience! I got married in 2022 and we faced eviction notices .. we spent many nights in a hotel we slept on my friends couch a few times we even slept in the car once. I knew that that all of that was for this podcast because even through all of that we never went hungry. we always had gas in our car.. even when our tire blew we were able to get that situated we were always taken care of.. the object of the game is to keep going no matter what comes or goes you can do this! Did I mention I record all of my episodes from my phone using my voice memo.. there’s no fancy equipment no cameras just me and my phone and sometimes all you have is all you need!
