We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Keynan Wilson. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Keynan below.
Keynan, appreciate you joining us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
Once I graduated high school on 2003 I started working at warehouses, delivery, and fast food. There was always times that I never enjoyed what I did, my main focus was just making money and surviving. Fast forward till 2019 I took a leap of faith (risk) and do what I loved which was Music, fitness, and start my own courier business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Growing up I was always into sports and music learning the fundamentals and being creative as well. Fitness played a lot into sports, that was needed to prevent injuries and perform at my best. Music had the same concept with trial and error learning how music was made and created. I would travel with my dad’s gospel group “The Soul Seekers”to watch them perform as a child and even led a song once. That was an amazing feeling that inspired me to chase the dream of being in music. As years went by I got better in both passions having that fire in me that I was going to one day have a career in both then blam! In 2001 I had an injury from football that led up to 5 brain surgeries, my diagnosis was a brain infection caused from the impact of me colliding helmets with the running back. Months and years went by of recovering that caused my chances to be real slim of playing football again, so I just decided not to take the risk and focus on fitness and music. As years went on I graduated high school and started working jobs I hated to make a living while at the same time figuring out my purpose. In 2006 I got married and had my son that came way down the road in (2016). The journey ahead of us that took strength from God keeping us strong through so much death of parents, siblings, family, and friends. There was so many years that went by with the wrong mindset navigating the path to take. In 2019 I started working with door dash to make extra income that led to me doing it full time. While working a flexible schedule and having good pay allowed me to start my business adventures getting certified in Fitness/Nutrition and investing in my music journey simultaneously. During the time of investing I met a lot of people that changed my life and helped me get to this point especially in music. One of the main people GILDE Flores became one of my closest friends that led to opportunities in the music world and also built a brother from another mother relationship as well. Since then we’ve been rocking and I’ve been contributing as an member to his company Paint The Noise “here we come”! Other than the music I’ve started a Courier/transportation business that involves me transporting doctors from hospitals and delivering medical supplies. With the music, my business, and fitness I’m juggling time to be successful that makes me happy for the future.
