Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Keyliz Editionstyles. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Keyliz, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Naming anything – including a business – is so hard. Right? What’s the story behind how you came up with the name of your brand?
Absolutely! it’s one of the hardest but most meaningful parts of the process. I actually have two brands that I’ve built with a lot of love over the years: EditionStyles and Miss Antoinette, and each name holds a special piece of my story.
Let’s start with EditionStyles. I came up with that name years ago, probably when I was a preteen just getting into content creation and trying YouTube for the first time. I remember knowing right away that I didn’t want to use my real name (Keyliz), because I wanted something that felt like a brand, something memorable. I was brainstorming with my dad, and he started mashing up different words until he casually said “EditionStyles.” The moment I heard it, something clicked. It just felt right. It spoke to my love for fashion and self-expression, and over time, it’s truly become my online identity. People know me by it. It’s followed me from YouTube to Instagram, to TikTok, to everything in between.
EditionStyles now represents so many things I do. It’s my name as a content creator, YouTuber, model, and fashion lover. I also run a physical vintage booth under the same name “EditionStyles Vintage Shop” , where I sell curated vintage and antique pieces. I wanted it to feel like an extension of my world, a physical space where followers who connect with my aesthetic can come shop in person and experience a little piece of my creative universe. It’s like a charming little “edition” of me, and I love that I’ve been able to build both a digital and in-person experience through that name.
My second brand, Miss Antoinette, is a bit newer but very close to my heart. I launched it about a year ago, and it’s where I handcraft limited-edition handbags from my home studio. This brand is more focused and refined, rooted in my love for historical fashion, especially the Rococo era and the elegance of royalty. I’ve always dreamed of starting a brand that captures the fantasy and femininity of figures like Marie Antoinette. I was drawn to the name Antoinette for years, it just sounded so regal and romantic. At first, I wanted to use “Antoinette” on its own, but the name wasn’t available. That’s when my mom, who’s a huge part of this brand and works side-by-side with me on production, suggested we add “Miss.” And just like that, Miss Antoinette was born. It felt like fate. The name was elegant, nostalgic, and completely aligned with my vision.
Both of these names mean so much to me. They capture different sides of who I am, EditionStyles is playful, expressive, and ever-evolving. Miss Antoinette is dreamy, romantic, and rooted in storytelling through fashion. Naming something is hard, but when the right name comes along, you just know.

Keyliz, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi! My name is Keyliz Nunez, and I’m a 21-year-old fashion designer, content creator, and founder of Miss Antoinette and EditionStyles. My journey into this creative world began when I was a little girl filming pretend YouTube videos on a tiny camera. I was always drawn to expressing myself, through fashion, storytelling, and creating things that felt beautiful and magical. I didn’t know exactly where it would lead, but I knew I wanted to build something uniquely my own.
As I grew up, I realized I was passionate about entrepreneurship, content creation, and fashion but I wasn’t sure how to bring it all together. I just knew I wanted to do something different, something that felt true to who I was. I always felt a little out of place in more traditional paths, and I dreamed of building a career that allowed me to create freely, inspire others, and bring beauty into the world.
Now, I run Miss Antoinette, a handcrafted fashion brand inspired by historical fashion, specifically the Rococo and Regency eras and the romantic elegance of royalty. From my home studio, I design and create limited-edition handbags using upcycled vintage fabrics. Each piece is made with care and intention, often featuring delicate florals, bows, lace, and vintage trims. These are not mass-produced bags, they’re timeless, collectible accessories made to feel like little heirlooms. My goal is to offer something truly special to those who appreciate femininity, nostalgia, and slow fashion. In the future, I plan to expand into garments, but for now, my focus is fully on my handbags.
I also run EditionStyles, my personal content brand where I share everything from vintage fashion inspiration to behind-the-scenes glimpses of my life as a young business owner. It’s the name I’ve used for years across YouTube, Instagram, and now my vintage booth: EditionStyles Vintage Shop. The booth is a curated space where I sell antique and vintage finds, like a physical extension of my aesthetic. It gives my followers and local community a way to shop in-person and connect with the world I’ve created online.
What sets my work apart is the care, heart, and detail that goes into everything I do. I don’t believe in mass production, I believe in timeless pieces that feel personal and special. I sew, style, shoot, and package most things myself, and my mom plays a huge role in helping me bring my vision to life. It’s a small operation with a lot of love behind it.
I’m most proud of building this all from scratch at 21. With no big investors or team, I’ve been able to turn my dream into something real, piece by piece. I want people to know that my brand isn’t just about fashion, it’s about embracing your femininity, finding beauty in the past, and feeling seen and special through the little details.
Whether it’s through a handmade purse, a vintage treasure, or a dreamy video on my page, I hope my work reminds people that there’s still magic in the world and that they can carry a little piece of it with them.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the world of social media. Whether it was filming videos as a kid, sharing my outfits online, or later promoting my brand and vintage finds, I’ve always seen social media as a creative tool and a powerful way to connect with people. I didn’t always know what direction it would take me, but I knew I wanted to build an online presence that felt inspiring and true to who I am.
Building my audience didn’t happen overnight. It’s been years of trial and error, experimenting with different types of content, and really learning how to communicate my vision in a way that resonates with others. Today, I’ve grown to over 40,000+ followers across all my platforms, but it took time, consistency, and a lot of patience to get here. I think one of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that growth isn’t just about numbers, it’s about building a community. I’ve worked hard to create a space where people feel inspired, seen, and connected through beauty, storytelling, and femininity.
If I could offer advice to anyone just starting out, I’d say: stay true to your aesthetic and your voice. Don’t rush to copy what’s trending, people connect most with what’s real. Also, don’t be discouraged if you don’t grow right away. I had years where I felt like no one was watching, but I kept showing up and creating content that I loved. Eventually, people started to take notice.
Engagement is just as important as content. Talk to your audience. Share the behind-the-scenes. Be present. That’s how you build loyalty and trust. And remember, social media is a long game. The more heart you put into it, the more it grows into something meaningful.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
When I first started my content creation journey, I was young, working from home, and didn’t have much income. But I was deeply passionate about fashion, storytelling, and photography. I officially started taking content creation seriously around 2020, starting small, just taking photos in my bedroom, dressing up, and creating moments that felt beautiful and magical. One of the best things about content creation is that you can begin with what you have. No fancy studio or big budget, just creativity, a vision, and consistency.
By 2021, I wanted to elevate my content and began investing in props, travel, and wardrobe styling. I thrifted nearly everything, clothing, accessories, and vintage props, to create scenes that felt like a work of art. I used my own savings to fund shoots, pay for unique photo locations, and curate looks that helped tell visual stories through fashion. Slowly, my audience began to grow. I started receiving gifted items from brands, which gave me more resources to create with. Eventually, I built enough trust and consistency to start receiving paid brand partnerships and that income became a stepping stone toward launching my own business.
I’m so grateful to have supportive parents who believed in me and encouraged me along the way. They helped guide me, especially in the beginning when things were uncertain. As I continued to grow, I launched EditionStyles Vintage Shop, a physical booth where I could sell vintage treasures I’d collected over the years. That booth became another way to generate income, reinvest in my vision, and give my followers a real-life space to shop and connect with my aesthetic.
After years of building that foundation, I was finally ready to start something more serious: my brand Miss Antoinette. I began with very limited funds, but I was resourceful. I thrifted all my fabrics, sourcing beautiful, high-quality vintage materials from secondhand shops across Pennsylvania and even in other states. I spent hours searching for discontinued textiles, ones you couldn’t find just anywhere because I wanted my handbags to feel unique, special, and timeless.
From the very beginning, I knew I wanted the entire experience of Miss Antoinette to feel luxurious and meaningful. So I thoughtfully invested in every detail, custom wrapping paper, signature ribbons, tags, business cards, branded hardware, and packaging design. I even worked with a team overseas to help create custom logo pieces and finishing touches for the bags. Everything was done with intention, so that every customer would feel like they were receiving something beautiful and well-crafted from start to finish.
Beyond the product itself, I also put a lot of resources into creative direction and campaign shoots. Every collection I launch is supported by a full-scale photoshoot with professional models, photographers, stylists, and a hair and makeup team. I fund the wardrobe, props, meals, and often rent out dreamy locations to bring the vision to life. It’s a huge investment, both financially and emotionally but it’s what brings my brand to life in the most magical way.
To this day, I continue to fund my business primarily through content creation, my vintage booth, and occasional brand collaborations. It’s not always easy, there are times I have to get creative and manage with limited resources but I always find a way to make it happen because this is my dream, and I believe in it wholeheartedly.
