We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Keyen Lopez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Keyen, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So, let’s start with a hypothetical – what would you change about the educational system?

The educational system is broken 💔.

As I can see, the whole school system is designed just to keep the kids busy, that way parents can go to work and make money, keep the wheel spinning and maintain the economical environment .

There is no way every kid is going to like the same thing, not everyone is good at math or music .

The way I think the education should be is taking every parent and family as an individual and make assessments to understand their talents, then. go from there and maximize the potential.

The school should be giving tools to prepare kids for success, giving them the ability to choose what they want to be in life .

Teach kids how to be leaders, how to be creative, how to grow their minds .

How to be special, unique .

That’s what I have been doing for 25 years as a consulter, first with music, teaching famous and not famous artists alike on how to be real artists, how to move on stage , how to approach an audience and how to leave a mark in the world, not just singing and performing but as live changers of others.

As a mentor now, I do coaching for speakers and individuals who wants to explore their inner champion, their intensity and passion when they speak, when they start a conversation and basically in life in general .

My life is about this, change the life of people, “touch” and transform people’s view or themselves and the reality of how to observe and be observed by others . Is so deep that I don’t have the space here .

Love and respect . And “don’t kill the fury .

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I have been doing music professionally for 25 years, I was part of a Boyband that was ridiculously famous in Venezuela and other countries, we as a band won many awards and travel the world, made 4 studio albums and just last year in 2021 made a final chapter where we did a farewell concert . This was an emotional event for all of us because the band starts in the year 2000 . You can watch this streaming concert in my YouTube channel keyen1

As an educator, Hundreds of artists have received sessions on how to be a special and singular artist. How to transform life’s with your music, I have a deep understanding of the vocal instrument and the emotionL core string to it .

I have been a mentor in tv shows as well as a judge .

I wrote opinions in magazines and newspapers and as a speaker I share my insights and diferents points of view of singing, music and more.

My dad died of cancer and that make me realize how randomness form an important part of life, since them I launch a way protein supplement (shut down because of covid) and start writing a book called “don’t kill the fury”

Here I explain the balance we need in life to achieve success in life, a balance between “fury” and peace ✌️.

I have travel the world and I’m really grateful for the understanding I have of the world.

Been “awake” is something to complex to share in an interview, but is really like the matrix movie .

All the years of reading and preparation of self tranformation make me a diferent kind of person and that’s why I want to share this knowledge with the world, because.

It’s not about me .

The first thing was when I finish activities with my Boyband (A punto cinco)

That was the first time I had to reinvent myself, and more than a singer I become a vocal specialist .

Then I start to become a writer a life changer something diferent .

I moved countries, from Venezuela to USA, Florida and spend 8 years living there, now, I moved again to Reno Nevada , to start over .

I tranform my body to the extreme to promote my whey protein brand .

Also transform my mind to the extreme.

I reinvent myself over and over again .

If this is not resilience I don’t not what is

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

The biggest lesson is about talent.

Is not about the talent it all.

Is about money .

Is about relationships and contacts .

You can have zero talent but the above and can be successful .

As well as , you can have all the talent of the world and no contacts and money and you will have zero chance of success.
