We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kevina Love. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kevina below.
Kevina , appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
Honestly, a lot of what I do is God-given. I didn’t go to school for this. I didn’t have the perfect blueprint. I just had a gift, a calling, and a fire inside me that wouldn’t let go. God trained my ear, my voice, and my spirit long before any studio ever did.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
For readers who don’t know me yet, I’m Kevina Love — a singer, songwriter, and inspirational artist who creates music with purpose. I got into this industry through faith and experience, not formulas. God placed this gift in me, and life taught me how to use it. Every season I’ve lived through shows up in my voice and my message.
I make music and visuals that uplift, heal, and empower people. My songs speak to the person who needs strength, who needs hope, who needs a reminder that their peace and joy are worth protecting. That’s what sets me apart — my work comes from a real place. I don’t create from ego; I create from testimony.
I’m most proud that my music is touching hearts and helping people get through tough moments. That’s what I want my brand to stand for: authenticity, faith, healing, and purpose. Everything I do is rooted in love, and I want my fans and followers to feel that every time they hear me.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
There was a moment in my journey where everything felt like it was falling apart at the same time — pressure, people switching up, and life trying to shake me. I almost walked away. But in that moment, God reminded me, “You’ve survived worse. Get up.” So instead of breaking, I created. That’s when my strongest music came out. That season proved my resilience: I don’t fold — I rise.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Absolutely. I wish I knew earlier about the power of community and real industry education. Simple things like learning how to market myself, protect my music legally, and build a loyal audience would’ve saved me a lot of time. I also wish I’d known how valuable mentors and networking spaces were — rooms where creatives share knowledge instead of competing. Those resources would’ve helped me move with more confidence early on. But every lesson I learned the long way made me stronger, so I’m grateful for the journey.
