We recently connected with Kevin Harris and have shared our conversation below.
Kevin, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?
As a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers me and a old friend would talk about the team for hours. In 2016 I started listening to podcasts and then I thought, hey I can start a podcast about the Steelers. After the 1st episode, I knew something good was going to come from this

Kevin, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Well lets fast forward to 2019 after finding success with “Steelersfor7podcast” I thought about expanding and BOOM! “Venture Season Network” was born. I introduced podcasting to my buddies and they bought into the vision about starting a network full a essay full of reasons. I started to produce their podcasts until they developed the skills to do that for themselves, allowing me to recruit more hungry creators. Now over the years we had people and shows come and go but in 2025, the brand is stronger than ever. We touch people from all over the world because we have different podcasts, shows, music, series, and more about everything being broadcasted on multiple platforms and outlets. Something you like is on VSN, I can guarantee that! As we continue to grow all I can think about is how sticking to the plan helped the brand grow. Also the feeling I get when I see how podcasting helped me and a few of my friends express ourselves is amazing. We all were dealing with the trials of real life and podcasting and running VSN with a strong team has become the best decision ever.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I learned your friends/family aren’t always your biggest supporters. I learned this the hard way but I adjusted quickly. The biggest excuse friends would give was “my bad I be busy” but you see them support strangers. So you just have to trust that consistency and quality work will pay off down the line

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Engagement is the key. My 1st few years I was involved in everything Steelers on different social media platforms. The topics i discussed started to gather a lot of traction and next thing i know, i began growing a following on multiple platforms. I then passed the blueprint to the other members of Venture Season Network and they started to grow, well some grew. Others crashed and burned but that was due to not being consistent.
