We recently connected with Kevin Harrington and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kevin, thanks for joining us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?

I was encouraged at a very young age to pursue filmmaking, at 5 or 6 years old. I was encouraged to writer scripts, cast my family and film projects from a young age.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I’ve been obsessed with visual media from my formative years. It’s in my DNA. I know the process of producing content. I’ve worked on over 100 films as as producer, writer and DP.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

Meeting like-minded people who want to create a common goal. The long days are no joke.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.

We have it in our DNA to do this. We are good at what we do and want the freedom to create.
