We recently connected with Kevin & Arthur Batstone & Rawe and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Kevin & Arthur, thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
Discussion Combustion Podcast (DCPC) was created and developed around friendship. Kevin and Arthur have been great friends for over 13 years and always found themselves having long, creative, and meaningful conversations for hours on end.
This led to the idea of creating a podcast for their voices to be heard by thousands,
Kevin pitched the idea to Arthur in early 201i9, and Arthur adopted the idea, and together they grew this into Denver Colorado’s podcast.
The main objective is to reach, and help people by creating entertainment, sharing relatable stories, while remaining humble, and real.

Kevin & Arthur, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
After roughly 15 episodes episodes, the mission statement was developed. “To include any and everybody from all walks of life, and to be critical, accepting, and loving.”
Through the process of Consistent, Quality, Content (CQC) DCPC has become an organic conversation platform where guests can be vulnerable while also sharing succuss stories.
DCPC is released in both a highly produced video format on YouTube, and heard on any podcast streaming platform.
This gives the audience the option to watch or listen..
Discussion Combustion Production LLC was launched in 2021,
This allows creators to utilize video and audio production services in the DCPC studio.
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
Way back in the day, Kevin and Arthur happened to be living within the same apartment complex. When Arthur would return home from a long hard day of work, he would notice Kevin hanging out on his patio drinking a cold frosty beer.
One day Arthur asked if he could partake in having a beer, They shared a couple of beers on opposite sides of the patio over several weeks. Until one day, Arthur Asked Kevin if he could drink a beer on the same side of the patio. From there a friendship was born.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Being consistent and having a quality product with great content has been monumental in the success of DCPC. What has been deemed the “C.Q.C.” Consistent – to be consistent means that viewers/listeners can depend on a new episode to drop on Thursday every week of the year.
Quality – a quality Video/Audio Podcast is important to retain engagement of listeners. This means investing money in getting the best equipment for multiple camara cuts and great audio quality.
Content – bring people on the show that have a great energy and are willing to be open and vulnerable, this way the show stays relatable and real.
