We recently connected with Keshun Brice and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Keshun thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Any thoughts about whether to ask friends and family to support your business. What’s okay in your view?
Asking is something I had to do but believing in myself like they believed in me. My family encourage me especially my parents they are truly my biggest supporters. I absolutely love the ones I call friend they’re going share every post . Those days I feel like I’m in over my head they all let me know I’m walking in my purpose.
Keshun, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Searching for something different as I worked in the fast food life. Awaiting with my great grandmother whom was my best friend, I searched for schools and a massage school popped up. I went to tour the school; it felt as if I was at home very welcoming energy. Got accepted in the school, few days later my dad had a table and chair waiting for me. The first person I did a massage on was my great gran. She got off the table dancing “feeling real good” at 96 years old. She gave me her blessing.
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
Scared money don’t make no money. Seriously you have to put your all into yourself in order for others to do so. I worked others dreams in order to pay for my own. What are you willing to sacrifice? Sleep, party time, family time, etc.. How disciplined are you? Every dime goes towards the business or the things to build the business.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Word of mouth has been the biggest marketing for me. I must say I am very grateful for that. My clients are very supportive and helpful in building my business. Sending friends, family, co- workers they’ve kept me busy.
