We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kesean Miller a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Kesean, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
I love being a creative, I say that because it gives me room and the freedom to just create whatever I feel, hear, or see!! Ive had plenty of thoughts about getting a regular job. I never got one because i just made being a creative work, I work hard to fund my dreams and do whatever I plan. Its nothing wrong with having a regular job but for me this is my job and I put my all into it every single day.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Well I am a musician, started when I was young in church. Over time and years I continued to grow and mature being a musician. Started traveling, doing more sessions, going overseas for tour, etc. one day i thought to myself, i want to go to the business side of what i do. So i started KeMusicCo where we provide services such as:
Music Production
Live recordings
Management
Event production
And more
If you cant find a producer or musicians or somebody to help you with an event, this company keMusicCo & Team is a one stop shop. Im proud that we can provide services to help clients in this industry that im in. Im proud of my team that are all professional and they push this vision just as hard as me. We want all our clients to be happy and overly satisfied in what we provide for them. This brand had a great name and we will do our best to keep it that way because i believe your name will speak for you before you step in a room or setting.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
One of the most rewarding aspects is seeing or hearing people enjoying what you have created and sharing over social media with others so they can enjoy too.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I would say it wasn’t easy but being consistent in posting videos and pictures with great captions helped me grow my audience. You have to continue to post Good/fun things about your business your life. pay for social media boost yo help get certain post out there past your audience so you can gain more followers or attraction to your Social media.
