Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kerisha Thorpe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kerisha, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Innovation comes in all shapes, sizes and across all industries, so we’d love to hear about something you’ve done that you feel was particularly innovative.

The most innovative thing I’ve done within my company is learning to become a master of all trades. Most may remember the quote from William Shakespeare stating “a jack of all trades is a master of none” which comes off as a negative trait However the full phase also says “but oftentimes better than a master of one”. With that being said it’s really a compliment to know a lot about a little .

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

As far as I can remember I’ve always had this relationship with music, no matter what I did it felt like music always followed. My journey in the music industry started a couple of year ago when I was at an artist showcase in Brooklyn, NY. I was watching so many artist with talent and in that moment I decided this is what I wanted to do with my life. I wanted to create a space for artists to feel supported. So I did what just that.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

The most effective strategy I used to grow my client list is being consistent. I know every one use that one but it’s so true. No matter what industry you’re in you have to stay consistent especially on the days when you don’t want to move. Those are the days that matter the most.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

> The most rewarding aspect about being a creative is have the ability to be my complete self. I enjoy who I am and I really like me, most people can’t say that. But I’ve come to a place in my life where I trust myself and I trust the products and services I provide and Art I produce
