We recently connected with Kenya Snell and have shared our conversation below.
Kenya, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear your thoughts about making remote work effective.
Working remotely has proven advantageous in my field. Throughout the years, I’ve engaged with individuals from the comfort of their own homes. This often facilitates a more seamless interaction, as clients are in a setting that’s familiar to them. However, a minor drawback is that some clients appreciate observing the process firsthand. They are interested in how I engage spiritually and often choose to observe it directly.

Kenya, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Kenya, and I am a Spiritual Medium, also known as a psychic medium. From a young age, I could see and feel energies that others could not. It was a subject I rarely discussed, especially in my younger years. I feared being myself and expressing my interest in spirituality. Thus, I avoided conversations about spirits and the afterlife. However, some things couldn’t be concealed. For instance, I often said, “I don’t get a good feeling about this or them,” and 90% of the time, I was right.
When the pandemic struck, I had to embrace my true self. My spiritual connection deepened, and I felt compelled to assist those seeking spiritual guidance. So, I followed the path God was leading me on.
This journey has been challenging but worthwhile. I’ve had to stay strong despite others’ opinions and learned to love myself in the process. Focusing more on the positive impact I can provide for others. The work I provide comes directly from my heart and soul, offering guidance or closure. While I can’t guarantee a fairytale ending after every reading, I can promise honesty, truth, and authenticity in every session with a client.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I’ve had to reevaluate is the perspective of previous generations on daily life challenges. For example, the belief that if money isn’t immediately accessible, it’s completely out of reach. Although hard work is crucial for achieving our goals, it’s also feasible to manifest our desires by visualizing and having faith in what is destined for us. This mindset is something I had to unlearn and adapt within myself.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I began expanding my social media audience by connecting with acquaintances from some of my previous platforms. I made it a point to go live on social media, whenever it was possible. Showcasing my work was the approach that gradually helped me increase my following. From there it was word-of-mouth.
My advice for social media growth is to prioritize consistency. Be as consistent as you can without overexerting yourself. Share content you are passionate about, and it will naturally attract the right audience. Don’t hesitate to stand out and be unique.
