Alright, Kensee thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So, let’s start with trends – what are some of the largest or more impactful trends you are seeing in the industry?

Biggest trends I see within my industry are actually starting to trend over the entire nation and world.
I am in the Western community. Fashion, rodeo, cowboy culture and all things western is taking the world by STORM.
Within the western community, people like Bella Hadid, a super model, and Taylor Sheridan, a movie producer and writer, and several western influencers are taking America back to rural roots, dirty boots, and western lifestyle.

Clean food, clean beauty products…. they are not coming from the plant, vegan community, they are coming from livestock! The entire nation is trending on Agriculture, western TV shows, Western fashion and western icons. The common citizen is becoming aware that using everything you can from animals is the healthiest option. Just like Beef Tallow! I think the most beautiful part of this, is starting with people unlearning the marketing tactics and lies of big pharma, and several large and well–known companies.

Now as far as where I see myself aiding in this nation changing phenomenon?
I am a western social media influencer –@westerngringa.
Now that cowboys and cowgirls are this nations interest and focus, people are looking to creators like me, to pave the way in showing them the real cowboy way, which is the healthiest and best way of life! Now, I understand that might sound biased, but you cannot knock it till you try it!

Western Fashion is something that is timeless. The cowboy will always be a huge part of America.
As I peak a person’s interest with that fashion through my socials, I have learned that I am able to continue their interest in my niche, as I travel from rodeo to rodeo, showing off the cute cowboys and farmers I know and the delicious steaks I eat along the way!

It is always such a life changing experience to be on the side of things that teaches people where they came from, how we have lived for thousands of years, and the AMAZING parts of the cowboy life that make me want to stay in it forever. I know that when people become a part of this culture, they don’t ever want to leave!

I think that although it might just be *trending* at the moment, this will give people a chance to learn something valuable. And although trends come and go, it thrills me to know within my lifetime, there was a time when western lifestyle was appreciated and allows me to feel safe knowing this information will have a greater chance of making it to the next generation!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I started in the Western social media space when I was about 21. I grew up on small homestead, raising livestock, watching women in my household rock western fashion and raise me with the best values and skills.
After I began thrifting vintage western wear, I began by posting the cute finds from those stores and in my closet in artsy photos with Instagram. After growing this, brands started to reach out to me and ask if they could trade product for a post. I grew this and grew this until payment became a necessity for my time. Next thing I knew, I was a full time Western Fashion content creator! I have worked with many large companies such as Wrangler, Boot Barn, Hooey and many others and plan to continue this path to the biggest success I can make of it!

I think what sets me apart from most creators is that I think out of the box, am not afraid to stand out, and am multi talented! With over 162k followers on all platforms, it is only a matter of time before I make it big, I am and will always be a big believer in myself!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

I think what helped me build my reputation the most in the western community was my confidence. Many of the same old ways, and same people rule the roads in this community, or at least make you feel that way! I think the biggest and best move for me was not allowing myself to be intimidated by anyone around me regardless of their status or last name!

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

Having others tell me I have made an impact in their life. Whether it was small or large. Hearing that I changed lives or inspired someone to try something new, keeps me motivated and realize what it is all about, which is those people im touching!
