We were lucky to catch up with Kenny Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Kenny thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.

I knew I wanted to be a actor 5 years ago when I got invited to be in a short video with my now and close friend Caleb Farrell, he invited me on set and the rest was history, the thrill I got in front of the camera was intense and fun at the same time. Growing up I’ve always been in front of the camera but never took it serious until recently and now its apart of my life.

Kenny, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hello my name is Kenneth Williams and I got by @Kennythedirector on Instagram which is where you can find the art I create through film/ directing and also digital art. You can find me @1takekenny for my personal work that I’m in and my business @Blkdragonsproductions for Client work. I’m a local creative working to be the best version of myself and trying to entertain others through the films I create! I want to inspire others and let people understand that they can become and achieve anything they set there mind too. Starting in 2023 me and my team will be providing commercial work, weddings, real estate, and film! The passion I have for what I do really sets me apart from most creatives today! most people only create things that’s trending at the moment for views, I like to create things that I’m passionate about. I’m really proud of who I am as a creative and what I’ve been able to create so far! I’m only just starting and have such a bright future ahead of me and just want to make sure that as I rise everybody who supports me are rising as well.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My Goal is to inspire others to chase there dreams, no matter what the price is! and to not be afraid to dream big. another goal would be to open my own studio at some point, that and pitch m own script to a film company like netlfix, hulu, hbo.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Networking on social media and just in general is a major part of life especially if there’s a end destination you want to be. That’s my biggest tip to people is to learn how to network and being consistent is the two major ways to being successful.
