Absolutely! Covid was a turning point that sparked the launch of my business in the most unexpected way. While the world was shutting down and people couldn’t gather in restaurants or celebrate milestones in the usual way, I saw an opportunity to bring joy and connection into their homes. It was about more than just food—it was about creating memorable experiences during a time when they were needed most.
People still craved connection, good food, and the sense of celebration that comes with dining out, and I had the privilege of stepping into that gap. I transformed dining rooms and backyards into intimate, restaurant-quality experiences, complete with curated menus and personalized touches.
The excitement of seeing clients light up as their living space turned into a fine dining experience inspired me to take what was once a side hustle and build a full-fledged business. It taught me the value of adaptability and creativity, and how much people cherish the chance to celebrate—even in challenging times. That realization became the cornerstone of my business model, and it continues to fuel the way I serve clients today.

Kenneth Williams Catering, founded in 2019 by Kenneth Williams, is a premier catering service based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kenneth’s culinary journey began in his hometown of Greenwood, South Carolina, where he developed a passion for cooking as the family chef. To further hone his skills, he relocated to Charlotte to attend the renowned Johnson & Wales University, earning an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Food Service Management. 
Our services encompass event and wedding catering, private chef experiences, and personalized meal preparations. We specialize in crafting memorable moments through our innovative techniques that blend savory, sweet, and spicy authentic ingredients.
