Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kenneth Stoute. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Kenneth , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?
Working as a recording artist has lots of ups and downs and many hills to climb. In 2010 I started recording and built a small studio trying to learn the craft and spent the next 7 years recording music and releasing it on SoundCloud. In 2017 I partnered with a friend and moved to South Carolina where we opened a studio and dropped my first real release under M2P Records who I’m signed to. At that time, we felt we had enough experience to really take a shot in music. I then made my first EP which released in 2019 and hit the I Tunes album chart. Covid then unfortunately slow everything down but my management team saw a great opportunity. We set a few small tours in 2020/2021 which led us to getting distribution via Real Hulk Records /Sony Orchard and releasing a full length album “FAY FAU”. 2023 was an even bigger year as I collaborated with Cas Weinbren (2 Chainz, Zombies 3) for Let Me Be The One and Velvet Cash, Rvkah for No Question which is my biggest single release with over 200k streams to date. Last year I also collaborated with MCV (Megan Thee Stalltion/Ultra Music Publishing) and now ready to take on 2025 with more shows and new music. A lot of my journey has been just grinding and hard work and making connections with serious artists and producers. I’m not sure I could have sped up the process more but I am grateful for every opportunity that has come my way. My team has been dedicated and working so diligently to get me to where I need to be and I’m so thankful for everything.

Kenneth , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I was in the band in Elementary school through high school and I just knew I wanted to make a career out of it. I do lots of services with my label and my agency. I’m open for features, beat production, artist development, branding, marketing, graphic design, composing, booking etc. We have all types of Label Services and my management and talent agency IASB Agency works with everything in entertainment.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My dream is to win a Grammy and or perform there as well as a major festival.
