Kenneth , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

Hi I’m Kenneth Smith! Owner Of Sticcks Barbershop! We have a mission to serve the public in providing clean stylish cuts for guys and women! I created a brand with others students that I met in school… each letter of the business name stands for a member in the group! The goal is to create several Sticcks Barbershops around the State then around the world that would also be a learning curve for youth to grown and prepare themselves for a promising future learning the skills to work for yourself and have business ownership!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I’m a very talented individual that works and learn from other individuals! I’ve been a business owner for 3years running a barbershop! What I love so much about running a small business is the flexibility that it gives me the opportunity to create several different streams of income! Being able to peruse my passion of becoming a Actor/ Model! Also hiring other employees to create the life that I won’t to live! Knowing that nothing In life is worth having if doesn’t come from hard work! Being able learn from clients that patronize my business learning skills and tips from those that are in a different line of work is also so rewarding! When you go to work and know that your positive input and great intentions are having a powerful impact on others life!! Being a business onwer couldn’t be more rewarding.

So when it comes to my Business name it was created while in school learning more about my trade and my soon to be Business adventure! One of of great Instructor pulled 7 of us students to the side and continue to speak life in us and explained that we had more to offer others based off our gifts! The group of us continue to come together and learn from one another! Each letter in the business name represents a persons name In the group! What I find so ironic is that I’m the only one still standing in the group and all the members have move on to other business adventures!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

I feel that if you are a honest person and mean well, it will take you very far in life! I’ve always pride myself off of how I treat people when no one is looking! When you put out positive energy to the universe, it always return 10fold! I notice when I treat my clients with dignity and respect! They always show the same respect In return! Not only do they show respect they go out and tell other of the great service that I provide that other tend to always seek! So I built my brand off of my reputation that I have around the community!
