We were lucky to catch up with Kenneth Horne recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kenneth, thanks for joining us today. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your creative career sooner or later?

I wholeheartedly feel like I should have started acting much earlier in life. I was always told I could do TV when I was younger, but never took it serious at the time. People seem to look at me and have a eazy time seeing me on a show. I would have changed not being more attentive to the signs in front of me.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Kenneth Horne and I am a resident of Irving TX. I began Acting in 2018 , on a Show currently on Tubi called Washed. After that I got roles on Movies like: Heavy, Drop Spot, Homeboys, and Cruel Ambition. I started a business in 2022 with the help of my girlfriend and partner LaTasha Wright. We have a apparel line known as Diamond Cut Drip, makers of Life is Good. And a Production company by the name of Diamond Cut Productions. We do T-shirts, Hoodies,Shorts etc.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Support their work! We have far to many directors, producers, and actors just needing a chance. Some are starting on social media platforms. Share their work. There is at least one artist in your area you can help blow up. We need that.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

I wish I would have taken advantage of the classes offered in business and theater when I was in College. I would have been much further ahead in my career and prosperity at this point, In my opinion.
