Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kenneth Christian. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Kenneth, thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
It was back when I was in middle school. I loved music with a passion I just couldn’t live without it. Music was like a therapeutic outlet and that what kept me balanced. Then after some time went by I meet my brothers in Christ and that what really encouraged me to keep going. Whatever I struggled with they would be right there to keep pushing me to go harder than the last song. Telling me how I need fix and correct things that molded me into the artist I am today

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Im 22 and im a music artist from Jackson Mississippi. I been writing and making music since middle school. This is my life and soul that I put into my craft and I plan to make you feel that. I love to come out and show support and love to the community and my local artist. I aspire to be able to make it in the game while doing it in my own lane.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
The best advice I can give is to take a chance on the new artist. Everyone deserves a chance for there music to be heard. It hard as an artist to be heard so just sitting down letting them know you care to hear the song good or bad is just one to support. Another way is actually coming out and supporting and working together because everyone has something the next person doesn’t so just passing on skill can help support us

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The number one thing that has driven me is to give back to my mother. Then after that I would love to give back to the community to be able to support the local artist I meet and grew up with. Next I want to be able to open a building that people can come and record and get all parts of the music that they need. It just hard for the Mississippi music scene so I just want to be able to help those who are in the place that I am now
