We recently connected with Ken’Nadi Broussard and have shared our conversation below.
Ken’Nadi, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
I learned what I do through lived experience, curiosity, and a lot of self-teaching. It was vital to immerse myself in fashion and wellness and pay close attention to what actually works for me. If anything could have sped up my growth, it would’ve been trusting my instincts sooner and letting go of old identities instead of comparing myself to others. The most essential skills have been self-awareness, discipline, intuition, and the ability to reinvent myself. My biggest obstacles were perfectionism, burnout, and holding onto roles I’d already outgrown.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Kennadi, a fashion model who also produces travel and lifestyle content because I wanted to create on my own terms. I got into this space by following what truly felt authentic by moving away from rigid industry standards and toward work that lets me tell stories through movement, style, and intentional living. My content blends fashion, wellness, and performance, with a focus on helping women feel self-owned. What sets me apart is my commitment to realness: I’m not selling an aesthetic so much as I’m sharing my essence and the aspects I enjoy about myself. I’m most proud of how I’ve reinvented myself without losing my sense of identity, and I want people to know that my work is about depth, intentional beauty, and honoring the full spectrum of womanhood.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My creative journey is about honoring authenticity, protecting your identity, and expressing beauty in a way that feels aligned with who you truly are.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding part of being a creative is the feeling of alignment when what I create actually reflects who I am in that season of my life. I love being able to translate my growth, my style, and my wellness journey into something others can connect with. It’s fulfilling to know that my art doesn’t just look good. It actually resonates, it empowers, and it helps people feel understood.
