Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kenjahte’ Harrison. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Kenjahte’, appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
In 2020, after losing my job due to the pandemic, I chose to pause rather than immediately jump into another role. I spent meaningful time with my family and began supporting friends who owned businesses, helping them strengthen their workflows and make more strategic decisions to navigate the circumstances.
Strategy has always been at the core of how I work. I built a successful career in supply chain by focusing on strong strategies supported by effective systems. It was a natural step to apply those same principles to helping businesses reach their goals. As I explored the consulting space, I noticed that many firms focused primarily on growth and scaling. While those are important goals, I saw a major gap: too often, businesses were encouraged to grow without first strengthening their foundation. Simply adding more customers doesn’t solve internal challenges—it often magnifies them.
In April 2021, I launched Modifi Consulting, and it has been one of the most rewarding decisions I’ve ever made. The true reward isn’t just improving operations—it’s seeing business owners gain the confidence and ability to fully operate within the vision they have for their businesses. Modifi was built on the belief that sustainable success doesn’t come from doing more, but from doing better—helping businesses build the clarity, structure, and strategy they need to achieve their goals and thrive long-term.

Kenjahte’, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Knowing the rate at which small businesses fail within their first five years has always concerned me. I often wonder whether they had the support they needed to improve processes and workflows or fix small leaks before they became big problems. As a Lean-certified professional, I’m always looking for ways to reduce waste and modify systems to make something good even better. Today, I help businesses strengthen the foundation of their operations so they’re building a solid business that can withstand the storms.
What sets me apart is that I help both businesses and individuals. Why? Because strategy isn’t just for business, and my mission is to help as many people as possible turn chaos into clarity. Modifi Consulting offers Strategic Success Planning, workflow optimization, project support, and business process redesign (BPR) for businesses, as well as 1:1 guidance to help individuals achieve their personal goals.
On social media, my brand, The Process Queen, is where I share tools, techniques, and principles to help people define their goals and take action. I also speak at events and lead workshops, showing audiences how to apply these strategies in practical ways. I don’t just solve problems in the moment—I teach strategy and the mindset behind it so clients can use these tools across all areas of their lives.
I published The Ultimate Goals Game Plan workbook (available on Amazon) to help users create a vision for their lives and set long- and short-term SMART goals. The workbook guides them in developing action plans, tracking progress, celebrating wins, and building supportive habits. It’s a step-by-step system for turning aspirations into results.
At the core, my goal is simple: to help you achieve yours—to find clarity and direction so you can design the life you’ve always imagined.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I created the @_theprocessqueen Instagram account during a time when many business owners were navigating the uncertainty of the pandemic. Working in supply chain, I had insight into what was happening globally, so I began sharing information I knew would genuinely help them adapt. From the beginning, my focus was never on going viral, reaching 100K followers, or becoming a content creator—and it still isn’t. My goal has always been simple: to provide value.
Whether I’m reaching 10 people or 1,000, I use social media as a tool to serve. When I see a business owner share a challenge and I have an idea, framework, or solution that could help, I share it. I believe this authenticity is what has allowed my audience to grow organically over time.
For startups and business owners just beginning to build their social media presence, my advice is to first get clear on your why. Know what you want social media to do for your business, then just start. Share what your business is about, the heart behind your brand, and the experience you’re passionate about creating. Pay attention to what content your audience engages with, tell your story, and focus on helping others. When people can feel your passion and see the value you bring, growth will follow naturally.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I’m very intentional about how I stay connected with clients because relationships don’t end when a project does. I keep a record of every client I’ve worked with and organize them by industry and business needs. When I come across a resource or tool that aligns with their work, I share it—not only to stay connected, but to provide ongoing value.
If I haven’t spoken with a client in a while, I’ll often send a brief check-in to let them know support is available when they’re ready to take the next step—whether that’s booking a session, planning a new project, or addressing a new challenge.
I also believe strongly in personal connection. I still send handwritten cards, and for clients with brick-and-mortar businesses like restaurants or bookstores, I make it a point to stop by and support them in person if I’m ever in their area. In fact, as I’m giving this interview, I’m preparing for my annual end-of-year visit with one of my very first clients.
For me, keeping in touch with clients isn’t a task—it’s an honor. Brand loyalty comes from people feeling seen, supported, and respected, and I take pride in building relationships that last well beyond the initial engagement.
