Keneshia, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

My mission is for my clients to feel beautiful on the inside, not just the outside. I feel that confidence starts from self-esteem, which has a strong impact on how we view ourselves. I want my clients to leave my business with the highest amount of self love possible. I love talking to my clients and getting to know them, with hopes of building rapport and trust. Reading the 5 star reviews left by my clients, is enough confirmation for me that my mission is evident and appreciated.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

My name is Keneshia Frasier and I’m a Licensed Esthetician. I started my business back in 2019 with 5 striplashes and a dream. Surprisingly, my striplashes sales did well but I knew that I wanted more from the beauty industry. I started my own skincare line for all skin types and skin tones, as well as becoming a certified eyelash extensions technician. Last year in 2022, I achieved my ultimate goal of becoming a licensed esthetician. By the grace of God, my business completely took off! I’m still amazed at how I started with just 5 striplashes to now being booked constantly for esthetic services.

I’m most proud of my strength and motivation. Not being a native of the Walterboro area, it proved to be more challenging to gain clientele. Some people would’ve gave up over time, but I hung in there. I knew one day my business would flourish. I kept my faith strong and prayed each and every day for my business.

To my potential clients, you will find a home here at Lashed by Nesh Esthetics. I treat my clients like one of my friends and family, not just a client to make money. For me, it’s not about the money, but the wonderful relationships you build with each client. My clients like to refer to their appointments as “therapy sessions” and I absolutely love that! I strive to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment that everyone can enjoy.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

My business was actually funded by my husband and I. No business loans or credit cards, just our income. We put a business plan together of everything we needed to get the ball rolling and put the plan in motion. I will say it was not easy but we managed to keep it going. Once my business began to thrive, it started paying for itself. Within a year, we didn’t have to put another dime towards anything my business needed.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

Word of mouth! I have learned that you can post a million times a day, every day, on all of the social media platforms, but your current clients are the ones growing your clientele. Majority of my new clientele comes from friends or family of my established clients. I strongly believe that if you treat your clients right, they will promote and refer you endlessly.
