Hi Kendra, thanks for joining us today. Is your team able to work remotely? If so, how have you made it work? What, if any, have been the pitfalls? What have been the non-obvious benefits?
Kitty Cocktails is a remote business. And it’s many pros to being able to work remotely. #1 is freedom and flexibility, #2 work life balance, #3 health and happiness, #4 cost saving & #5 peace and quiet.
Being able to balance my 9 to 5 and my home life while running my business remotely is amazing. It makes the process less hectic and everything flows seamlessly. No pitfalls yet and I have high intentions on not having any at all.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
I view each challenge as a learning experience. And I also try to take a positive perspective on situations. I say by far me being resourceful is how I illustrate my resilience. Also believing in my abilities. To have confidence in my ability to cope with stresses of life while maintaining running a business and a household. One time Kittys Cocktails had a large order, the order was made to perfection but the Florida heat tried to win. I wasn’t prepared for such high temps that day but the distance to travel wasn’t far. I was able to pack the coolers with ice and transport successfully, even though the frozen drinks began to melt and I was dissapointed and felt I was letting my client down , but she was extremely satisfied .
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Kittys Cocktails build social media audience by captivating content, amazing captures and inspiring stories . The goal is to inspire others while motivating and encouraging.
Our work speaks for itself. We organically grow by networking with other content creators. Sharing out to groups as we create the content helps us also. Hash tags are amazing. We are still finding out target audience, which is very important. The brand and aesthetic is also important. Make sure you follow the right accounts and unfollow when necessary .
