Hi Ken, thanks for joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

“CLUB KEN” is undoubtedly my most personal project to date. The album reflects a significant chapter in my life, as I was navigating through a relationship that ultimately turned sour. From the very beginning of the writing process, I found myself pouring my emotions and experiences into the music. Each song captures different moments and feelings, allowing me to express the highs and lows of that journey. It was both cathartic and challenging to channel such raw emotions into my work, but I believe that authenticity resonates with listeners. This project not only showcases my growth as an artist but also serves as a testament to the power of music as a means of healing and self-discovery.

Ken, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I made Ken the Rapper this carefree and fun spirit and I was younger and in school when I created my persona and started creating music. I’m not yet in the industry or at least the part I want to be in, but I feel like I’m getting closer to that point. The only thing I would provide to other aspiring artists is to keep going hard and take your time with your craft. I feel like my ability to fit into different kinds of genres and actually make it sound great or sound like a hit is what sets me apart from others. I step outside the box and take risks others are scared to take. I want my Kenaddicts and my followers to know that I go hard for them just as most of them go hard for me. And I thank you all for streaming my music and keeping up with me 10 albums later.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is the ability to connect with the fans through my music. There’s something incredibly fulfilling about creating songs that resonate with listeners, allowing them to feel understood and less alone in their experiences.

I a lot of joy in the creative process itself—experimenting with different sounds and styles for various eras of my work. Each project presents a new opportunity to explore and push my artistic boundaries, which keeps the journey exciting and fresh. Whether it’s diving into new genres, collaborating with other artists, or incorporating unique elements into my music, I love the thrill of stepping into uncharted territory. This exploration not only helps me grow as an artist but also keeps my sound evolving, which I believe is essential in keeping my music relevant and engaging. Ultimately, the combination of personal expression and the potential to inspire others makes being an artist an incredibly rewarding experience.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

Absolutely and that is staying hungry and pushing myself to become the star I aspire and manifest to be. Period.
