Ke’Mari , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you come up with the idea for your business?

I came up with Queen of Emotions due to me growing up loving accessories. I love the different styles and brands of handbags and other accessories. I knew it had to be other queens out there that have the same passion in fashion accessories as I do.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name Is Ke’Mari Brown and I am the CEO & Owner of Queen of Emotions. I started Queen of Emotions a year ago. I always love going to the mall with my mother and aunt to look at accessories to match with my outfits growing up. My love for accessories & my collection of purses, wallets and other accessories grew. Fashion has always been a big part of my life and it can really help show your personality. I want to help other queens feel beautiful and just be themselves when they’re out in our accessories.

We’d love to hear your thoughts about selling platforms like Amazon/Etsy vs selling on your own site.

I do have a website that is up and running right now. The platform I use is Wix; at first it was pretty tricky to use especially when it comes to web designs which I am still learning how to work with. Overall, I really love my site it’s easy to move around the entire site and I hope everyone loves it as well

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

There are multiple ways I keep in touch with our customers we have social media. We are on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook & Snapchat @ShopQueenofEmotions. We also send out emails to keep everybody in the loop of what’s new or an upcoming sale. We will be having SMS messages coming soon in 2023, so stay on the lookout for that.
