Kelsie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the best advice you ever gave to a client? How did they benefit / what was the result?
Early in my career, I received a call from a young lady who was super excited to purchase her first home! Just like every conversation when I first meet a client, we discussed her goals and how we would achieve them. She told me her whole life story; I recall her stressing the importance of her daughter having a space to call her own where she can rest and recharge. Her daughter was battling an illness that had her in and out of the hospital her whole life. The medical bills were piling up, she accrued a great deal of debt which then impacted her credit score.
Instead of brushing her off because she could not purchase a home right now. We came up with a plan for her to pay off her debt and increase her credit score. We kept in touch for years!
Whenever she hit a milestone in paying off her debt, she would call me filled with joy about how proud she was of herself. Fast forward 5 years later the day finally came when she bought her first home.
The amount of self-confidence and pride she gained through our time working together made it all worth it.

I am a full-time Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in South Tampa. I have a passion for helping people. Whether it be a home or an investment property, there is a sense of security to homeownership that I love.
I moved to Florida from Upstate NY in 2016 and immediately got my Real Estate license.
Growing up my parents renovated homes and my grandmother owned her own brokerage, Friendship Realty. I’ve been surrounded by real estate my entire life and knew from a young age that it was a field I wanted to pursue.
I enjoy spending time out on the beautiful waters that Florida has to offer, from the natural springs to award-winning beaches. You can often find me cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning or checking out a new trendy restaurant in town. Tampa has something for everyone, and I love that my job allows me to boast about our amazing city!
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
What has built my reputation and what I believe sets me apart is the heart and resilience I put into each and every one of my clients. Real Estate isn’t a hobby for me, it’s my career and I treat it as such. I am always available for my clients and enjoy taking the time to guide them through each step of the process. I pride myself on thinking outside the box to not only find the perfect property for my clients but win the offer and secure their dream home. My goal is to make purchasing or selling as seamless and easy as possible.
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
A majority of my clientele is referral based. This means past clients or even agents that I have worked with send their family and friends to work with me. This is the best compliment I could ask for and it means the world to me!
