We recently connected with Kelsey Martindale and have shared our conversation below.
Kelsey , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you get your first job in the field that you practice in today?
My journey to becoming a Reiki Master had sort of fell into my lap naturally. I have always been very empathic and always prioritized helping others in all aspects of my life. I had met a group of people at a spiritual expo and instantly felt connected. I then decided to begin my certification. Once I finished Reiki 1,2,3 & masters I went on to opening and running a reiki business for the next two years. After a couple years I felt pulled to heal through more self help tools such as jewelry and oils. That pull has led me to my small business, Altered Vibrationz.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Kelsey Martindale and I am the owner of Altered Vibrationz. I create crystal and stone jewelry that can be worn everyday to help you on your healing journey. I also make essential oil roll ons for different ailments or to be worn as a natural perfume. My goal is to connect with each individual to help them find the right healing technique for them. As a Reiki Master I am blessed to be able to work with the spiritual side to help clients gain clarity and comfort when it comes to the non physical realm. I work with clients to overcome trauma, addiction, and health issues along with doing house and business clearing. I also help with the removal of unwanted spiritual entities and karmic cycles. Everyone has energetic gifts that are capable of healing in amazing ways. I am blessed to be able to help others and make them feel safe while in their most vulnerable state. Through love and connection we can help heal each other and provide a beautiful authentic life for everyone.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I was so closed off to the possibility of change and the power we have as individuals. I had to unlearn the simple things such as “one person can’t make a difference” or the power of “I can’t”. Once you let go of the idea of these imaginary blocks that hold us back in everyday life, anything is possible! Start becoming a yes man, and setting boundaries that you have been holding back on. The right people and life will fall into place once you stop fighting what is hurting you.
If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?
Absolutely! I have tried stopping, but end up on the same path back to healing just in new ways. I believe I have found what I am here to do, even if it changes form over time.
