We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kelsey Barnes a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Kelsey , appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?

The biggest risk I’ve ever taken was allowing people in. Spiritually it’s always risky to be apart of a group of even a leader of it because it’s so much energy that has to be fed others. Dealing with the masses alone and being a voice is a fulltime job

Kelsey , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am a fulltime spiritual consultant. I got into this business of selling goods and also coaching others to help guide other people through there journey because when I started I had NOBODY. It was scary but rewarding. I feel like it’s served a purpose for me because I had to grow to fill the shoes I am right now.

I am an intuitive reader. I also do conjure work for those who need it and I teach it as well.

How’d you meet your business partner?

I recently combined my business with my soul sister and spirit twin Jasmine. I met her at a pop up shop and our energies just matched. She’s the only person since I’ve moved to Dallas that I had truly connected with and being that our businesses were every similar we’ve become a bigger force together than separate. So be looking for something new from us soon.

Have you ever had to pivot?

Sometimes business doesn’t always go as planned. I closed my first store due to landlord issues. It ended up being a bigger blessing in the long run but at the time I couldn’t see it. The best part of it is the growth that came from what seemed like a fail in the moment.
