We were lucky to catch up with Kelly Hall recently and have shared our conversation below.
Kelly, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
Growing up as a daughter of pastors, I have served in ministry practically my entire life. Even with the support of my parents, I still struggled with low self-esteem, rejection and poverty throughout my adolescence. As a young adult, I finally began to develop a personal relationship with God as my Heavenly Father, and that relationship made all the difference in the way I saw myself and eventually they way I began to interact with the world around me. Once I discovered the freedom that comes from not having my identity attached to performance or the approval of others, I had a strong desire to share that freedom with other young ladies, which sparked Forever Daddy’s Girls.
While the mission of Forever Daddy’s Girls has always been to connect girls with their Heavenly Father, it initially started as a desire to start a conversation through exploring fictional stories of girls on their journey to finding a relationship with God. However, while teaching in public school during the pandemic, it became apparent to me that young ladies needed an opportunity to gather in person and connect. Two years of isolation during the pandemic did a number on our social skills, which were already suffering due to an increased dependency on digital interactions and social media.
After much prayer and enlisting the help of a trusted friend and Brand Coach, Jae Nicole, I began the process of re-branding Forever Daddy’s Girls from a novel series into a social community. Forever Daddy’s Girls’ mission is still to connect young ladies to their Heavenly Father by educating them about their identity as daughters of God. Now, we seek to do this by hosting gatherings, interacting on social media, and creating an online community where young ladies can access resources compiled to help them to embrace their identity as daughters of God and address that identity in spirit, soul, and body. (The book series may make a comeback, as some have requested, but the current priority is making meaningful in-person connections and offering godly guidance and resources online.)
In the first year since relaunching as an online community, Forever Daddy’s Girls has grown to add an Event Logistics Coordinator and a Brand Ambassador to the team! It is a natural, organic growth that is birthed out of genuine relationship-building and assessing how we can best serve the young ladies we encounter. At Forever Daddy’s Girls our goal is service, not profits. All gatherings and events are absolutely free of charge to the attendees. This means that we have to be strategic in our planning and budgeting. Having a strong core team of individuals who truly embrace the mission has made this both possible and enjoyable.
Going from idea to execution began with prayer and a genuine desire to make an impact in the lives of young ladies. While we are not a for-profit entity, we still seek to operate in excellence and present our mission with the same level of organization and professionalism as a business. Working with a brand coach, Coach Jae Nicole, helped us to gain clarity and organize our mission in a way that is clear, concise and easy to understand.
The first step was to simply get started and be open to adjust and change as we learn along the way. I am excited about the future of Forever Daddy’s Girls and the impact that we will make on the next generation of young ladies.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Kelly Hall, and I’m the founder of Forever Daddy’s Girls. This is more than just a ministry to me; it’s a calling. I believe that every daughter of God deserves to know her worth and value in Christ, and I am committed to helping them on their journey of faith.
I am a wife, a mother, a licensed educator, a corporate accountant, a volunteer organization leader, and a ministry leader. In all of these roles, I have been blessed to meet some truly phenomenal women who know their identity as daughters of God. They operate in various industries and all of them have a lot of wisdom to offer.
I like to have fun! I am not a stuffy person. I love to laugh, try new foods, and play competitive games (not too serious, though). I’m learning to enjoy a little more pampering and niceties, and I’d love the opportunity to share some of these experiences with other daughters of God as we grow together in grace and in knowledge of God and of ourselves in Him.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
Jae Nicole and I met at church. She was in the youth group, and I was a youth leader; she was in Girl Scouts, and I was a troop leader. Initially, our relationship was more of a mentor/mentee relationship. As year passed, we became sisters in Christ, and eventually we became business besties.
The relationship that Jae and I have proves that when you genuinely invest in service of the next generation, you reap the benefits of their growth and development. I am so blessed to have a business partner who is genuine, loyal, and honest in addition to being highly skilled at her craft!

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
Forever Daddy’s Girls is a labor of love. As an accountant, I know how to budget. The initial capital that I needed to build this community came from me saving and budgeting the income I receive from my corporate job. Over time, others who believe in the mission have contributed resources, sponsored events, and offered services in support of our activities. At one point, Forever Daddy’s Girls sold books and t-shirts, and 100% of those funds were re-invested into our events.
Forever Daddy’s Girls is a service community. There is no paid staff, and we are not on a mission to profit from our work. We trust God to send resources as we work with our hands and use the skills He has blessed us with to impact all who we are blessed to serve.
