We recently connected with Kellsie Moore and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Kellsie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
I don’t chase trends and I don’t use sensationalizing techniques. If a trend aligns with your brand, then by all means, use it for a promo. But constantly chasing the next shiny toy will make stable, reliable, predictable, and scaleable growth a forever elusive goal. My methods are grounded in sincerity, cultural awareness, personality, OKR’s, and market fit. As an anthropologist, author, artist, and actress, I see how the full picture needs to work together from creatives to copy to presence and product. We approach decisions with a holistic viewpoint, thoughtful discussion, and meaningful actions.

Kellsie, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi, I’m Kellsie—a storyteller, artist, and brand strategist dedicated to helping visionary entrepreneurs stand out and cross the finish line of their goals.
As a debut author, my book world revolves around tales of historical fiction, romance, and adventure—think Outlander meets Twilight, with a dash of Vikings.
But beyond the pages, I’m a seasoned marketing consultant with a track record of driving top-tier conversions and transforming brands’ depth and distinction.
After seven+ years in marketing, I’ve developed a distinct approach that merges strategic insight with my background in anthropology and artistry. Not only that, but I’m continuously expanding my awareness and stretching my perspective. I’ve been on the road full-time with my husband and our dog for over two years, living out of Airbnbs in places like Mexico, the UK, and all around Europe, exploring cultures and new life that inspire my work. I help businesses clarify their voice, refine their brand, and strategically connect with the audiences who are searching for them.
My process, the 3X Distill + Refine method, uncovers the core essence of a brand, turning it into a message that truly resonates with the right audience.
In 2021, a life-altering TMJ treatment rendered me nearly speechless for nine months. It was a time of reinvention, a turning point that led me to step back from the podcasting, video coaching, and content I had built up over the years. I also stepped away from acting, a passion I’d fought hard for, and am circling back around to with fresh energy. This chapter was filled with a rediscovery of my love for painting, and as a hired Artist in Residence at the Van Gogh Immersive Exhibition, I began selling pieces that tell my story of resilience and transformation.
As an anthropologist, artist, and author, I bring a thoughtful, human-centered approach to branding and marketing. Together, we’ll explore what’s missing for your ideal audience and position your brand as the solution they’ve been seeking.
I believe that you don’t just find yourself—you create yourself.
Who do you want to become? What do you want to build? Let’s craft your message to be unforgettable.
Are you ready to distill your message and bring it to life?
Let’s create a brand that stands out for the right reasons and scales with authenticity, creativity, and impact.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
Like most people, I’ve had to reinvent myself several times so far, and I’m sure those won’t be the last. The most difficult; however, was when I was growing as a video presence coach and suddenly my TMJ took a severe turn for the worse and it became necessary to treat it with several mouth appliances. It made It incredibly difficult to speak for over nine months. I suddenly had to stop doing speaking event, video coaching, making video content, and podcasting. Which was everything that my business consisted of. This pivot into silence turned me inward and awakened the artist that I had put to sleep years ago. My creativity was rebirthed as I simultaneously enhanced my other skills such as running and testing marketing funnels, copywriting, operations, and brand building. Since I wasn’t speaking all the time – I listened. I learned to pay attention in a new way, observe, and put pieces together that I otherwise may have missed.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Proving it. Use decks, videos, and screenshots. Compile it, share it, prove it. When you speak with potential clients, listen first, ask questions, listen some more, and then demonstrate that you heard them. Ensure they are heard and feel understood. Then be clear in what you can do to solve their problem. Then back it up with proof from other times when you’ve done something similar. The world is full of people overpromising, pushing agendas, and delivering subpar work. It becomes easy to stand out when you do great work.
