We were lucky to catch up with Kelli Laneé recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Kelli , thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?

The most meaningful projects has been working on our  company’s vision and staying dedicated to having fun in the process. Building legacy should be one of the most meaningful statements we make in life .  To have a sense of purpose that whatever God calls us to we should answer it.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My background started in New York  City while I attended the “The Art Institute”  where I studied Fashion Merchandise & Marketing. Throughout my time in one of the fashion capitals of  the world  .  I made it my business to have my foot in the industry freelancing as a Creative Director , PR , Style Architect and building my company which is know as “KL”

In the midst of all the experience , ownership was my main focus on this journey. But it had to be in alignment of my purpose.  Although the journey has it ups and downs , I take everything as a lesson for my next move. Which God get all the glory. “Jesus Christ”  . We haven’t scratch the surface just yet. The momentum of being in partnership with God , you just never know what he up too . We just know it is going to be impactful and legendary.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

My resilience comes from God to be honest , sometimes I tell myself it has to be the power of God moving in me because there are many times my flesh is tired of the process but I just know the promise keeper doesn’t lie so I keep going. I  also have a knowing about what I want out of life. As a kid I knew I wanted to craft a life t of abundance. That notion came with hard work and dedication . Still to this day I have the same desire to push myself to higher heights . I just know we are here to change the world.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

The freedom that a creative has to express , to build , to changes views on one’s perspective of life is what make it rewarding. I believe in me as an creative because God called me , it’s is written . (Jeremiah 29:11)
