We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kelley Nemiro. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kelley below.
Kelley, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How’s you first get into your field – what was your first job in this field?
For as long as I can remember, I thought I knew exactly what my career path would look like. I went to college, then pursued my MBA, all with the intention of becoming an expert in casino marketing and working for my family’s business. It felt like the natural path—one that would make my family proud and give me a sense of belonging. But once I actually stepped into that world, I realized something was missing. I was doing everything “right,” but I didn’t feel fulfilled.
Around that same time, I was struggling with hormonal health challenges that doctors were only treating with pharmaceuticals. I started diving deep into research, trying to understand my body and find a more natural way to heal. The more I learned, the better I felt—and that was a turning point for me. It lit something up inside me. I realized that what truly excited me wasn’t marketing casinos—it was helping women reclaim their health and understand their bodies the way I had learned to understand mine.
So in 2019, with nothing but a hope and a prayer, I quit my marketing job and started my health and wellness coaching practice, Wellness by Kelley. It was terrifying—leaving behind the stability and expectations of a family business—but also exhilarating. I felt like, for the first time, I was doing something that truly aligned with who I was and what I was meant to do. Looking back now, I couldn’t be happier that I took that leap. It completely changed the direction of my life, and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Kelley Nemiro, the founder of Wellness by Kelley and Raeya, a women’s sanctuary for wellness. My work is rooted in one simple mission—to help women feel empowered, confident, and deeply connected to their bodies.
My journey into this field started in a very personal way. For years, I struggled with hormonal imbalances, weight gain, fatigue, and other symptoms that traditional medicine only treated with quick fixes or pharmaceuticals like birth control. I wanted real answers, not just temporary solutions. So I started researching, studying functional medicine, nutrition, and women’s health—determined to heal myself naturally. When I finally did, it completely changed my life. I felt better than I had in years, and I realized that my true calling was to help other women do the same.
That’s when Wellness by Kelley was born—a health and wellness coaching practice designed to help women rebalance their hormones, optimize their metabolism, and finally feel good in their bodies again. I work with clients all over the world, offering one-on-one coaching, group programs, and online education that empower women with the knowledge and tools to take control of their health. My approach combines science-backed functional health strategies with a holistic understanding of lifestyle, mindset, and self-care.
Over the years, I saw that so many women were craving not only education but also access—access to the highest quality wellness tools, practitioners, and technology all in one place. That’s what inspired Raeya, my latest venture. Raeya is a space designed to support full-spectrum wellbeing, offering everything from red light therapy, massage, acupuncture, colonics, lab work and health assessments, to facials, cold plunges, infrared saunas, and more. It’s a sanctuary where women can experience true restoration, connect deeper with their health, and find balance through both modern science and ancient healing modalities.
What sets my work apart is the personalization and education behind everything I do. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all wellness. Every woman’s body is different, and I take the time to help my clients understand what’s happening inside theirs—so they can make informed, confident choices for the long term.
I’m most proud of the transformations I’ve witnessed—the women who come to me feeling frustrated and disconnected from their bodies, and leave feeling vibrant, confident, and in control. For me, there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone reclaim their energy and self-trust.
At the heart of it all, I want people to know that Wellness by Kelley and Raeya are about empowerment. My goal is to show women that they don’t have to settle for feeling “off,” and that with the right support, they can truly thrive—body, mind, and soul.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I truly believe my reputation was built on real results and real relationships. From the very beginning, Wellness by Kelley grew almost entirely through word of mouth. My clients’ success stories have always spoken louder than any marketing campaign ever could. I’ve had women come to me after years of struggling—some who were on two forms of birth control just to manage endometriosis, others who hadn’t had a menstrual cycle in years, women who were battling acne, trying to conceive, or feeling hopeless in menopause. Watching them reclaim their health—naturally—is the most rewarding part of what I do. I’ve seen clients lose 50 pounds, balance their hormones, clear their skin, get pregnant after years of trying, and finally feel like themselves again.
Those transformations are what built my brand. When a woman’s life changes that profoundly, she tells everyone she knows—and that ripple effect has been the foundation of my business.
I also think a big part of my reputation comes from the fact that I’m completely transparent and vulnerable about my own journey. I share openly on my stories—the struggles, the setbacks, the behind-the-scenes of my own health and business. I never want to come across as the “perfect” wellness coach; I want women to see that I’m human too. That authenticity has created such a deep sense of trust and connection with my audience, and I think that’s what truly sets my brand apart. People can feel when you’re genuine, and I think that’s been the biggest driver of both my growth and the loyal community I’ve built.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
Managing a team at Raeya has been such a new and exciting chapter for me—it’s actually the first time I’ve ever led a team of this size, and I’ll be honest, it’s definitely been a learning curve. But it’s also been one of the most rewarding parts of building this brand.
I’ve learned that maintaining high morale really comes down to open communication, approachability, and leading with a positive attitude and intention. I make it a point to create an environment where my team feels comfortable sharing feedback, asking questions, and being part of the conversation. I want everyone to feel heard and supported, because when people feel seen and valued, they naturally show up with more enthusiasm and creativity.
I also try to lead by example—staying positive, transparent, and grounded in our mission. Even on the challenging days, I think it’s important to show up with the same energy and passion that inspired me to start Raeya in the first place. When your team sees that you genuinely care—not just about the business, but about them—that’s what keeps morale high and the culture strong.
